Bloodlust made the hero fight a slaughter! The Alliance’s only hope was to keep Kurdran alive after Deathwing was polymorphed, but Gorefiend could not only tank an Exorcism, but had a full energy bar to dispatch him with. Maybe the Tides of Darkness Heroes could have swung the balance, even with their weaker stats? Either Uther and Turalyon could exorcism Gul’dan to death since he only has 40hp, and then both could use their remaining mana to severely wound Teron. If the Alliance ground heroes can kill him before he can cast spells at the gryphon rider and their inevitable Bloodlust powered death, then they can secure a win. Zul’jin is no match for Kurdran, and no other living Horde hero can hit air units.
I imagine Zul'Jin (bloodlusted!) would still put enough damage on Kurdran to outdo any additional Exorcism damage on Teron. Also keep in mind that Teron could use two Coils instead of one to heal himself! Gul'dan would probably also get out a coil before getting exorcised, and he could Haste some allies as well. Edit: Nevermind, Teron casting Unholy armor on Gul'dan would probably be the winning play!

The Hero fight was going to be extremely one-sided regardless. The Horde Heroes have *massively* inflated stats, especially HP, specifically because they have no healing, unlike the Alliance. Yeah, Khadgar can take Deathwing out of the fight, but that basically takes him out of the magic game, while Teron Gorefiend still has a full mana bar to wreak havoc with - and that Death Coil would have completely negated Turalyon's Exorcism. Juggernauts are so good units. Thats why in my many mission of the dark portal I juggled my starting fleet to dodge enemy ships, sink theirs and drain their peasants to repair their shipyards
Great movie as always, but you could've used the WC 2 intro music for that last naval battle, it would give it the feeling that you are actually participating in that landing.
Because it's ridiculously imbalanced. Basically Human is at a severe disadvantage once the late game come into play and everyone get access to their unique units. Specifically Ogre Mage's Bloodlust, which unlike in World of Warcraft or Warcraft 3, this one gives a unit a whooping 300% damage increase! And so dirt cheap that a full Mana Ogre Mage can hand out this triple damage to 7 - 8 units! While Human Paladin (Ogre Mage counterpart) got a ridiculously inefficient Heal which can't offset the damage that Bloodlusted units could dish out. Not even close. So e-sport is only viable if the game is a mirror match, and fall apart when it's Human vs Orc. And it's doubtful that Blizzard will rebalance the game anytime soon.
@@machaiping Balancing between factions does not matter much, although it is certainly a bonus. Mechanical balance matters most. This is easier to explain when looking at fighting games. There are dozens of characters, but only the few top tier ones are viable in professional play. Second tier characters are kind of viable, because they rely on the surprise factor. Everyone else is trash that might as well not be there. But the game will still be popular if it is mechanically balanced. The characters need to have many different viable moves. If everyone just spams the leg sweep, nobody is going to watch a match. To bring it back to strategy, the most popular ones are also mechanically balanced. Produce more starter units now, build another expansion or climb up the tech tree? If Space Marines where the best counter to every other unit and could also mine resources, nobody would care about Starcraft. I think I just answered my own question, because Warcraft 2 is probably not mechanically balanced.
@@schwarzerritter5724 Problem is Human and Orc in Warcraft 2 are perfectly identical with just palette swap until they reached Paladin and Ogre Mage tier units. Which means they have no advantage/disadvantage until the final tier and only player's skill that matter during that early/mid stage. So for Human player to win in the late game fights vs Orc player he'd have to be so much more skilled than the Orc player that he could've just steamrolled Orc player and end the game before late game even come around. Which against peer opponent (equally skilled) then he'd have no chance when playing as Human vs Orc as there's no way for him to get such a huge lead.
@schwarzerritter5724 I mean, it matters to spectators. There are only so many ways to do a horde mirror match, and warcraft 2 esports would been seen as boring by players and spectators if only one faction was. Thus, an esport focused on it would die quickly.
Okay at first I was like: No way heroes of the horde looses, simply cause Deathwing has like 800hp while gryphon hero has only something like 300... then I saw bloodlust... yea no way! Not gonna lie, I expected half of those whirlwinds to change direction back and destroy the death knights The heroes vs alliance thing could have gone either way too if the blizzard was hitting all the enemies, like the death knight's AOE was, instead of just the death knight.
I think for the Alliance heroes to stand a chance there, Khadgar needs to Slow the enemy team instead of polymorphing Deathwing (though that is a cute play). Hard to say that they have any chance at all though. The extra damage from Blizzard wouldn't even compare to what Bloodlust is doing.

But near the end you started attacking the ships with a different attack and i was like: "Hey! That's cheating!", but a Battleship still survived. I was thinking the Cannon Towers would win, thinking that they'd be able to take some DQs out before they blow up, thinking it was an easy calculation, not knowing that DQs can take out multiple towers per unit, so obviously, that was the catch. You can't put scripts inside War2 maps. Seems like some custom made game mod. For a moment I thought he wrote some custom made warcraft 2 implementation from scratch but video description says hes using original game + HD mod for high resolution.
I'm only using the HD mod at the moment. This is all manually controlled, just using scripts that help by automatically doing certain mouse clicks etc. But I got help from a big modder for this game (Ed Gorod) today so I might be able to use stuff like AI-automated spellcasting in the future!
But I dont see your mouse clicking. Is this edited out? Or does it interact with game engine directly without moving mouse on screen? Is this script AutoIt?

I've been watching a lot of WC2 videos on TH-cam lately and the more I watch, the more I realize Blizzard was right about WC2 not being fun enough to remake.
Yeah, that heroes vs. heroes fight is extremely one-sided. The only way they can win is if they polymorph Deathwing and kill Teron Gorefiend. Kurdran can then pick off the other three. Turalyon, Danath, and Alleria can humor the melee heroes of the Horde but with Bloodlust, they won't live for more than a few seconds.
I thought the Dragons would beat the Archers for sure, though Dragons do have a tendency to do great damage to their Allies by accident. They also do strange pauses at times and are very unreliable and costly. As a kid I’d always try to mass them, with varying amounts of success vs real players.
If you're gonna attack with dragons, be ready to micro them. WC2 has this weird "thinking" state for units where they take twice as long to start attacking the next target. That's especially bad for Gryphons and Dragons.

@@StuGames I don't know if that's what did it, I think it's the fact that Turalyon is ridiculously weak in terms of raw health and attack for whatever reason while he gets flexed on by Dentarg, Kargath and Grom. If he was in Grom/Kargath's ball park (again, in terms of raw health and attack), maybe things would've played out differently. Though I doubt it. That and a better placed Blizzard.
would love to see different 1 v 7 comp tactics, bloopers even.
I guessed the correct outcome for all except the horde's armada vs human fortification. Happy with that lol

Khadgar: Do you know who i am?
Grom Hell: Slice and dice! Take it!
Khadgar: Ugaaaaaaaaaaaa
So funny dude! lol lol
Shit! Bloodlusst is so insane! that why i think orge is stronger than paladin :(
thanks for the high quality for the content bro :3
pls make more video with war 2 :3 beautiful childhood
I'd be terrified to see that many dwarves bomb squads coming at me. Like a tsunami of TNT.
Love these series
interesting to see how much kit/unit types was transferred from humans in wc2 to elves in wc3
Great video!
How about 100 battleships/juggernaughts vs. 250 destroyers? Or something around those lines.
From my experience, that'd be an easy win to the juggernauts/battleships. The ratio between their attacks isn't worth the damage diff.
Loveeee your video, pls keep going 👏
would love to see this go to some other RTS games next like C&C generals, act of war, 2nd gen C&Cs, etc
Me when my child was born: 😐
Me when Warcraft 2 FIGHT CLUB returned: 🤩
BOMBSA GRREAT!!
F*** that was a repressed memory 🤘🤣🍻
Moral of the story is that a good offense is always superior to good defense in Blizzard RTS
"So let me get this straight, captain: The admiral ordered our entire fleet of 150 battleships into a storm conjured by the enemy to kill 50 death knights. The mission was successful, but the entire fleet bar a single vessel was sunk. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH IT WILL TAKE FOR US TO REBUILD THAT FLEET!?"
Awesome stuff. i loved Warcraft II.
The whirlwind is what you would cast to make fun of your pitiful opponent
Not a serious spell
Warcraft 2 fight club suggestions.
Troll Berserkers vs Elven Rangers, see which one is the stronger ranged unit.
A huge amount of basic melee units vs a much smaller number of such units backed by a ton of ballista/catapults.
60Kgold killed all but 1 unit from a 150K gold army (not to mention the wood and oil). Still massively effective!
How do you script those battles and remove fog around both colors? Did you write your own custom mod for that?
Yeah very curious how he has done this. Possibly an enhanced war2 map editor?
Very cool video dude :D
Also how many you remember when a shot was fire either from a catapult and Blister and would sometimes do no damage sometimes 😅😅😅😅
Please make more Warcraft 2 videos! Also, Warcraft 1!
No no one the most self deadly spells of all time 😆😅😆 I was always so sacred that spells coming back and killing my forces 😆😆. Also Zug Zug still incredible after all this time
Please do the battle:
- Horde heroes, full upgrades vs 60 footman & 60 archers, no upgrades.
Mages be aoe farming even in the olden days
Nothing can stop bloodlust.
Mages should have unleashed Blizzard at those Grunts
I think that was already in another video. Nice to see something different here, such as that and the deathknight hurricanes.
I've been watching a lot of WC2 videos on TH-cam lately and the more I watch, the more I realize Blizzard was right about WC2 not being fun enough to remake.
Deathwing be like you think i m. A joke then mage polymorph like yes lol😅
In the first fight i think the whirlwinds are the real winners. nobody wins against them, you just unleash them and gtfo or it might turn on you x)
Hero orc vs. Hero human best of the best.
Wacraft memang GAME KEREN❤AKU SUKA
Where is speedrun for ST2:LotV? Thank you 🖖🏼

I thought the Dragons would beat the Archers for sure, though Dragons do have a tendency to do great damage to their Allies by accident. They also do strange pauses at times and are very unreliable and costly. As a kid I’d always try to mass them, with varying amounts of success vs real players.
Dragons under Bloodlust and Haste are very terrifying. Bloodlust doubles dragon damage, while haste doubles attack speed and flying speed.
@@gamemaster2638 oh yes, I definitely did that. I even added unholy armor into the mix at times.
If you're gonna attack with dragons, be ready to micro them. WC2 has this weird "thinking" state for units where they take twice as long to start attacking the next target. That's especially bad for Gryphons and Dragons.
Nice video! Do you know War Wind 2: Human Onslaught game. It is WarCraft 2 clone but I think nice game. If you dont know that game, ı think you should consider it from Steam or Gog versions.
Please keep up WarCraft 2 videos.
And we have War Wind 2 multiplayer matches on youtube.
I'll check it out!
I'm proud you've made the heroes vs heroes battle I asked for🤭 The result though bit disappointing😢
Never played but: i chose following contenders:
Death knight: loss
Suicidal dwarfs: win
Orc grunts: win, close fight wow
Elven rangers: win
Heroesvof horde, mage in black cloak specifically as a survivor: loss but win
Human defense: loss
"150 Battleships versus 50 Death Knights..."
Well, that's easy, it's going to be the DKs because of Death and Dec-
"....Using only Whirlwind."
Oh, they're so boned.
God, i miss playing this game
Auch wieder gelungen! Mach mal voll geupgradete Berserker gegen Ranger.
So, it took Blizzard how many years to develop the banelings for StarCraft 2 when they likely could have developed them for StarCraft 1 using the code from the units in WarCraft 2.
never played warcraft 2, but i heard that paladins can instantly kill death knights with exorcism. couldn't turalyon have insta-killed teron gorefiend?
He does cast Exorcism on him! It does a good chunk of damage but heroes have increased stats so Teron can take it.
Also death coil heals death knights, if i recall corectly.
How did you setup the ai to do this stuff? PLEASEEEE MAKE A BEHIND THE SCENES VIDEO

@@StuGames but what about for your brood war videos with like 200+ units all casting?
My predictions:
Fight 1: DK win
Fight 2: demo squad win
Fight 3: grunt win
Fight 4: dragon win
Fight 5: Horde heroes win
Fight 6: Attackers win
Dragons lost
@@fabiocosta3830 well they were my prediction before each fight
4/6!
YESSSSSS MORE MORE MORE WE NEED MORE ❤
Even back then the horde had the best racial traits! x)
Do the Dwarven battle agains guard towers, not cannon ones. I believe the towers win because the shot is mote accurate for moving units.
Hey stu, I just discovered Star Craft 2 thanks to my father you could make a demonstration of a match with terrans as a beginner it will help me to see what to do at the beginning (I already have the basics on the game ) this game is amazing
there are plenty of good tutorials on youtube, for instance try searching for "pig terran bronze to gm series"
Hi Stu, do you have any plans to make SC2 LotV & Nova speedrun next? I really love your SC2 speedruns, they were very enjoyable to watch compared to other speedrunners
I might do it if I feel like it, but LotV 100% is very challenging to plan and run
@@StuGames Yeah it is more challenging compared to WoL & HotS. Anyway, thanks for creating this type of content with quality efforts!
Didn't know WAR2 was a tower defense game!
guessed everything right, 'cept for heroes fight and the armada)
Love this
If Kurdran kept his distance after Khadgar polymorphed Deathwing, the human heroes would've probably won!
Love the fight clubs, SC2 is my favorite. Speaking of, when is LOTV speed run?
all in due time
