About drawing heads from a straight forward view. I used to struggle with those a lot myself but I realized a lot of the struggle came from trying to get it perfectly symmetrical and stuff. While I won’t say that you shouldn’t practice facial symmetry (those hours of stress come in handy later in your art journey), I will say that at one point you’ll have to loosen up in order to get the results that you want.
It’s nice to draw along with you! I wish you endless inspiration.

Nice hair! Maybe for the second one you could try to curve the back part a bit to the inside and then curve it again to the outside to make it more stylized without adding much detail. Also, it would be great if you added more volume to the top hair in the second drawing as it looks a bit too flat. Great video!

i found hair really fun to practice, i'd always be doodling it in class
and now its the one thing im fairly decent at drawing without a reference

I have trouble with that straight away view too xD, i usually slightly mess it up then say screw it, if it looks like the head is facing slightly left then ill go with that lol
