- Lyrics to the song Seven Devils off the album Ceremonials by Florence & the Machine. At 0:42, I think it's "crown", not "crowd" - sorry about that. There is also some dispute that at 4:12 it's "What has been done cannot be undone". Again, my apologies for any mistakes.

Whenever I hear this song I'm immediately taken to a dark mansion in the dead woods. I'm standing at the bottom of swirling stairs spiraling up for miles. The dark gown I'm wearing tread behind me as I start walking towards large double doors. The mansion looked like it hasn't been touched in decades. When the large, intricate doors open a masquerade was glowing with grace, and sin. Sloth, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Pride, Greed, and Wrath everything and everyone is there. They swirl around me laughing and taunting. And I'm stuck in that horrible ball until the song ends.

One of the BEST creepiest/eerie songs ever made deserves an equality mysterious/horror movie with it. Maybe about a psychological thriller/horror movie about ancient paranormal artifacts from the birth of the earth uncovered in one of the deepest caves or underwater trenches, 7 people, some rich and everyday people get they're hands on it and get possessed by an ancient group of evil, the seven deadly sins and it slowly becomes epic.. with the summoning of evils and trying to seal them again.
It was recent when released and used the series Revenge first season finale cliff hanger and had a chilling effect from start to end and still is just as impactful, it was said the video was edited to fit the music score after hearing the song the first time. The Climax scene paired with this music still has the same impact over ten years later. People were searching for the artist and song title back in 2011 during the end credits of the show.

This song is such a enchanting and badass song and reminds me of a lot of things, but one thing that stays in my mind is the Doctor Who's "Moment" from the 50th anniversary. The Moment was the one weapon with a conscious, and that took the form of (the beloved) Rose Tyler. Such a powerful weapon would have to be made of something like the 7 Deadly Sins.

I hate that they didn't continue on with the next installment of Beautiful Creatures. I thought it was cliche at times, but I loved the characters and story. Won't read the novels but I wish they'd done the rest of the movies.

+Christine Ward the books were so much better than the movie, the reason they didn't continue the movies was because they took bits in pieces from each of the books and crammed it into one movie, so it was all four books in one, not saying I didn't enjoy the movie but I don't really see it as part of the beautiful creatures books, I think they just took the basic plot if the story with so e stuff from the books and made a movie, but if you enjoyed the movie I would definitely recommend the books it goes into much more detail of all the characters
I agree. The books were so much better. I actually listened to them on audio book and those were some of the very best audio books I ever listened to and I've listened to alot since I have time to do that at work. They might be the best because they had sound effects and various voices for the characters.But yeah definitely better than the movie.

The person has done something they regret and they feel guilty.
The person is depressed, and sees themselves as already dead ("I was dead when I woke up...") and they plan to kill themselves later that day, due to the fact they are surrounded by the devils (sins/regrets) that torment them from the second they wake up.
The person feels guilty for "burning down" someone's kingdom (destroying their life) and in turn, has their own destroyed by the 7 devils.
It could however be remorse entering her own kingdom, and that moment is when their life went downhill.
