2 separate categories really need to be in place. This is coming from someone who mains a second device, and its just so much easier to mix and make tracks sound nice and full. Don't get me wrong you can do the same thing on the rc-505, but it takes a lot more time to do, and even in the end doesn't sound as full. I hope the loop station scene soon adopts this competition model because, the gap is just growing further and further as people start to learn their second devices more and more.

SXIN took me on a journey through that track... but the second drop.. it was really nice and perfectly fit, but for me it missed the wow factor... such an insane build up i actually got lost in thoughts but wished the drop was the nutshell

In the real event, all contestants know/knew the ruleset, so them not using a second device is a disadvantage they gave themselves by choice, not because the opponent pulled a sneaky move and got a secret advantage.
