My father is originally from Bangladesh and I travelled there when I was 18. I miss it SOOOO MUCH! The people are SO KIND. You are going to have the absolute best time!!!!! In regards to the Friday prayer, there is a lecture/talk and also the prayer which you saw. All up it takes probably 30-60 minutes. It’s not disrespectful at all to film it, but it’s lovely that you thought about that. 😊 I’ve seen many non-Muslim travellers visit Masjids. You should definitely give it a go! 😊😊😊😊

That fruit you ate is called Jamun. Its eaten normally with a little salt. It's supposed to be very good for people with diabetes. The seed is dried and powdered and taken by people who have high blood sugar.

Hi, The black fruit you tried is sour in taste. but I think you bite the seed that's why it tasted so bad (it's not uncommon to bite the seed as it has huge seed and little flesh). We usually eat it by smashing the flash and mix it with salt and pepper. In the mosque they are outside due to inside is full, this happens on Friday "Jumma" prayer. The pineapple price is ok. Some tips.... always bargain for transports like rikshaw, CNG/tuktuk, etc, they sometimes ask for a very high price than usual. Maybe ask some locals around you for correct prices. Another Tip, if you want to see the beauty of Bangladesh go outside of Dhaka please, Dhaka is just a busy capital city, nothing much to see...

E.g Bangladeshi Cuisine would have lots of beef and mutton in, while a typical Indian cuisine would be mostly vegetarian due to religion majority differences. Yes, majority of us are Muslims. Not everyone in Bangladesh is a Bengali though. We also have other ethnic groups, e.g Chakma, Mizo, Manipuri, Garo, Khasi. Bangladesh is quite diverse in ethnic and religious groups. Lastly, I would like to mention Bangladesh wasn't part of India and it never was. Our country has its own sovereignty.

Welcome to Bangladesh! You can try resorts in Bangladesh. Bhawal resort near Dhaka is a good one. Dhaka (Mirpur) zoo has a good collection of animals. You can also visit historical places like Bogra, Rajshahi and Kushtia. You can visit remote southern district Patuakhali to experience beautiful rivers and village life. Taking a boat ride to Sunderbans forrest is a good one, but you’ll never see tigers there. If you just stay in Dhaka, try to attend musical gigs of contemporary bands. Enjoy your stay.
@@josieliftsthingscorrected my typos in the earlier message. Please avoid old Dhaka at any cost (Dhaka University campus is nicer). Old Dhaka was a great place 70 years ago. Now millions of outsiders are trying to share the same space without caring about the place at all, next to one of the world’s most polluted river. Somehow old Dhaka was marketed to the west and all the foreigners pay visit to Old Dhaka, and none of them visit destroyed historic buildings that made old Dhaka great in the first place. Nothing to see there now, except chaos, slums, misery and pollution, which no one is proud of.

Assam's historical areas and river island like Shivsagar, Tezpur, Majuli. 3. Cherry Blossoms of Meghalaya 4. Dzukou Valley Nagaland also try to attend Hornbill Festival. It's Grand 5. Sacred Forest, Living Bridge, Asia's cleanest Village, wari chora in Meghalaya. 6. Sikkim's Snow life. 7. Tripura's Unokoti, Tripureshwari temple where you will see a big pond and feed fishes and tortoises 8. Mizoram's shops are best for shopping Cute Stuff so go around their capital. Also their cosmos fields. 9. If Manipur issues get resolved do visit Loktak Lake. 10. Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang is most popular here. Beautiful Nature. 11. Since I am from Assam I can tell you to visit Kaziranga, Pobitara, Manas National Parks. Northeast is Heaven, and I hope you would explore not only the cities or nature but also the festivals and culture.

You can try resorts in Bangladesh. Bhawal resort near Dhaka is a good one. Dhaka (Mirpur) zoo has a good collection of animals. You can also visit historical places like Bogra, Rajshahi and Kushtia. You can visit remote southern district Patuakhali to experience beautiful rivers and village life. Taking a boat ride to Sunderbans forrest is a good one, but you’ll never see tigers there.
If you just stay in Dhaka, try to attend musical gigs of contemporary bands.

Please avoid old Dhaka at any cost (Dhaka University campus is nicer). Old Dhaka was a great place 70 years ago. Now millions of outsiders are trying to share the same space without caring about the place at all, next to one of the world’s most polluted river. Somehow old Dhaka was marketed to the west and all the foreigners pay visit to Old Dhaka, and none of them visit destroyed historic buildings that made old Dhaka great in the first place. Nothing to see there now, except chaos, slums, misery and pollution, which no one is proud of.

That rickshaw puller was showing you the place was just 3 buildings away with his three fingers and the price of the pineapple were quite ok u didn't pay extra usually ppl have it with some sort of spicy sauce (chatni) mixture of mustard paste black pepper salt and chili. Too good for summer.

1. Assam's Hill Station like Halflong, Diphu etc.
2. Assam's historical areas and river island like Shivsagar, Tezpur, Majuli.
3. Cherry Blossoms of Meghalaya
4. Dzukou Valley Nagaland also try to attend Hornbill Festival. It's Grand
5. Sacred Forest, Living Bridge, Asia's cleanest Village, wari chora in Meghalaya.
6. Sikkim's Snow life.
7. Tripura's Unokoti, Tripureshwari temple where you will see a big pond and feed fishes and tortoises
8. Mizoram's shops are best for shopping Cute Stuff so go around their capital. Also their cosmos fields.
9. If Manipur issues get resolved do visit Loktak Lake.
10. Arunachal Pradesh's Tawang is most popular here. Beautiful Nature.
11. Since I am from Assam I can tell you to visit Kaziranga, Pobitara, Manas National Parks.
