Love vlogtober and how we get to see snippets of a real day. I love seeing projects, recipes, thrifting, etc but I also love just seeing simple, daily living in between all of that. You do it all so beautifully!
Nothing is more relatable to me as a mom than being interrupted by a child to spell a word for them 😂. And girl, we are in the same stage of life. Running around taking kids to activities. I know you don’t complain but a full schedule is draining for sure. You’re doing great!!

I put spice in my coffee, too. I use pumpkin pie spice, ginger, and grated nutmeg 😋 you're a busy mom you used the Crock-Pot which is great my children are grown I still like to use the Crock-Pot occasionally. I put a roast in the crock pot last night also usually I go to The Apple Barn Orchard and get my apples but I ended up buying some at the grocery store yesterday hopefully I'll get to the orchard soon. Bible studies are awesome!

I homeschooled my son in 4th grade during the covid year and I loved the flexibility of it. We usually started the day with math but somedays he just needed something different so we would sit cozy on the couch and read. Friday mornings we always did a science experiment in the kitchen. Such great memories, he is an 8th grader now and my daughter is in college. It goes so fast!

Oh the days of being Maxi the taxi were such busy days. Our five children could only choose one weekday activity other then things like library, skating ect. that werre family outings. The children were given freedom to change
activity within first couple of weeks if not a good fit or in the New Year. 13:47 13:47

Hillary, thank you SO much for making another christmas planner!!! I've used it since 2022 and I just love it so much. I do have one request- in next year's planner, would you consider having a few pages devoted to Thanksgiving prep and menu? I think for most of us Thanksgiving kicks off Christmas and in some ways is just as much work to plan!
When I was young, I belonged to a 4H group that met on the farm of an older woman and her husband and it was focused on learning how to sew and cook- loved it - made my first dress there! Maybe there is a 4H in your area that does sewing, since your daughter is interested in that. God bless!❤😊
Regarding activities and sports for our kids to be involved in……when my kids were young years ago, 60’s and 70’s, we had a rule that only one extracurricular at a time could be had. This taught them the importance of choices and then do that activity well. We sometimes forget that parents should make their own choices too. It’s not all about allowing our kids to do everything they want to do. They need to learn to sacrifice for mom and dad sometimes too. Kids need to have bored time. That’s when they get creative and learn to entertain themselves. You were wise to test the Girl Scouts and weigh if it was worth the commentment. My dad used to say “This is my and your mother’s house, you just get to live here while you’re growing up.” Doesn’t sound very loving but it does put things in perspective. I’m already dreading the feedback I’m going to get.

I think we all go through phases of reading and then not, as busy moms. I've been tandem reading Allen Bradley murder mysteries right now. I loved seeing Finn look outside. We have a miniature schnauzer named Jane Bennett 😂

Re:apples - my mom used to cook apples slices with sausage links to go with pancakes so I do that sometimes in the Fall. It’s delicious and another way to use apples this time of year. 🍎
Can we get daily outfits on shorts? I would love to see how you style your clothes on a daily basis. I know you do closet clean outside and talk about what you wear and what you would pair it with. But it's just so different seeing you show us your outfits.
