Congrats on the 3rd place in class at Grand Nats. You guys have probably the second most competitive class there. Truly an accomplishment, and something to definitely be proud of. Loved the show.
Overall, i liked the show. The band moved pretty well and the band was staged quite successfully. But musically, there were some flaws. The brass sound especially was edgy and the woodwinds didn't add the texture to the sound that you would expect from a really high caliber band. This could be because it was very cold that night, but the band had at least 20+ minutes to warm up. Btw, i really enjoyed the flute solo!
Wish I could've seen this. Their move up to 4A and ours down to 2A was really upsetting. It was a saving grace, though, because I heard 4A was a slaughterhouse. Glad to see NF still going strong!
True, but still, Class AA had more finalists than Class AAA, thus making it automatically more competitive to earn the top spot. Sure, it might not be as competitive to get the 3rd place spot, but getting first would not be an easy task.
Competitive? How was 2A competitive this year past the top two bands in that class? Miriam Catholic and Tarpon Springs were the only serious competition in 2A.

I agree; they should be really proud! I can't wait to see what they accomplish in the future!
I really was wishing they would make finals=( they were so good....

2:40 and 4:20 were the death of me that year!
