Thank you! DSOTM was originally in the list! I pulled it because I felt it's on every list, and I wanted to share albums that were less predictable. I almost pulled Rumours for the same reason. Regardless, it's a wonderful album and is a must-listen for sure!
Apart from The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix, I don't like any of them. 'Free at Last.' (FREE) 'Dark side Of The Moon' (PINK FLOYD) 'Black Rose' (THIN LIZZY) 'Last Of The Red Hot Burrito's' (FLYING BURRITO BROS.) 'Tommy' (' THE WHO ) ' Bandstand' (FAMILY') 'The Wind' (WARREN ZEVON) 'Thanks I'll Eat It Here' (LOWELL GEORGE) 'Yo Frankie' ( DION) 'Machine Head' (DEEP PURPLE)
John Huston in Chinatown: "Politicians, ugly buildings, and whores all get respectable if they last long enough." Thank you Robert Towne ( screenwriter). With the passage of time, things, as long as they sold, are "respected" choices. Well, what about "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies? It sold more than most of the things on your list, so why isn't it a record that "You must hear before you die?"There is NO ctitical thinking behind most of your choices, other than "I like this." Takes all kinds, I guess.
Hey Terry, thanks for sharing your titles! As u mentioned in the video, I tried picked titles that had a lasting impact on music and the community, and aren’t on everyone’s list. There are a TON of titles that should qualify. That’s why the “official list” of records one should listen to before they die is 1001 titles… and even that list isn’t an exhaustive list. As I said in a previous comment, these aren’t even my top ten favorite records. It’s just a fun list of great music that had a huge impact and worth listening to before you kick the bucket. Happy spinning!
"The" Public Enemy, Go "On" Your Own Way and "Suffragette" pronounced with a hard "g" show you probably don't really know this music on a personal level.
Thanks for pointing that out! I appreciate the feedback and will definitely keep it in mind. Always trying to learn and improve, especially when it comes to getting things right with music I love. ☕️
Its not as though he mumbles 'suffragette', he sings it over and over. If you like the album, you'd have thought he'd notice. That freaked me out hearing it miss-pronounced
50/50 in bad taste. What I like about being an individual is I don't feel the need to tell someone else what they should listen to, watch, like etc. We have our own tastes. Never been a follower so these videos make me laugh. Everyone wants their 5 seconds of fame. Look at me, look at me. Records are made to enjoy and not to display to the world of fad followers.
Appreciate your perspective! Everyone’s got their own taste, and that’s exactly what makes talking about music interesting. This list is just my take on some great albums-meant to inspire conversation, not to tell anyone what they should like. Thanks for watching!
Any top 10 list without Love "Forever Changes" can't be taken seriously.

@@VinylLatte I can make at least nine more lists with the same quality. That is why making lists like this does not make much sense.

The markers across the bottom are all over the place. I was trying to catch the names to add to my Qobuz list and try out.
Fixed! Sorry about that!
Tastes differ. 😊
For sure! TO be fair, these are not my favorite albums of all time. Perhaps that's a future video 😉
@@VinylLatte , I am intrigued.
