Amiga beat em ups are certainly improving aren't they? The little details are such a nice touch. I believe the programmers used a very smart engine, where they don't do straight sprite swaps with different colours but build the characters from a set of differing body parts! That way there can be more variety in opponents with limited memory. Seems PRETTY smart.

Reminds me far more of Streets of Rage than anything else - In the best way possible!

It's great the game supports 2 buttons. Commodore should have been pushing publishers and joystick manufacturers to support 2 buttons at minimum on the Amiga when it was first released (3 buttons should also have been the norm for beat-em ups making them much easier/nicer to play)

I always found it strange that even the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad and C64 all had 2 button joysticks that only used one. I agree, a dedicated fighting pad would have been awesome!
But hey, at least we are getting those games with the multi-button support now! Better late than never lol

I'd watch a playthrough :). Looks really fun, too bad my computer died a while back, but I'll enjoy it second hand.
I can tell just from a glance that it has responsive controls. Unlike the og Amy beatemups, where your guy always froze for a few frames between commands :). So many unfair deaths...

Oh no! Your Amiga has bitten the dust? That would be so sad. Maybe/hopefully it can be repaired.

@@OperationPhantom fortunately not my Amiga, that's still safely stored away in my sons cellar :). I bring it out maybe once or twice a decade to play Moonstone, Laser Squad, and SSI gold box rpg's.
It was my PC that gave up the spirit. There's fortunately a recycling center downtown where I can get a decent engine for a pittance.
