We had a black cat named Midnight.
I have a black cat. We got her from the shelter to be a companion for our older cat as the other cat we had passed on a while earlier. By all rights, we should have been turned down. It was a spur of the moment head to the shelter during October and I was wearing a I Drink Your Blood t-shirt. We signed the papers and took her home where she's fit in amazingly. It wasn't until Bava's first vet visit that we got the lecture from the vet about being careful because of the season and the weirdos out there. She's still doing great, we keep her indoors and she has a fierce addiction to bread and walking around with straws.

That was such a cool video! 🥰 I had a black cat,her name was Midnight and she had the sassiest personality ever; never stopped talking about her opinions or her day,tried to feed me mice and a live rat,slept with me every night...She passed away due to cancer😢 The vet said She was too old to be operated on and wouldn't make it through chemo. I miss her ever day,love you Midnight

I remember seeing this as a kid and having nightmares about the scene where Vincent Price pulls off Peter Lore's head and play catch with it. Still, I couldn't wait to rewatch it. The same goes for The Tingler and many more Vincent Price flicks. I loved being scared by him!
I loved Peter Lorre in Arsenic and Old Lace and the Maltese Falcon. He was a very entertaining character. His accent only made him more fun to watch. Thanks for such a great video.

I love black cats. I had one in my teenage years (Zac) and I currently have one(Parker).Zac was taken off my front lawn one morning and I later found him on a road not too far from where I lived. His passing crushed me for a long time as he and I were only apart when I went to school. He was my shadow. The day I found Parker I wasn't even looking for a cat but for a pair of rabbits. His sweet round face and light green eyes got me though.When I made it to the shelter a few days later (it was a long weekend)he was sitting in the window as if he had been waiting for me all day. I will never forget Zac but Parker filled a void that I buried away long ago. He is my new shadow.When I am sick he is there. When I was bed ridden he stayed by my side leaving only to eat and do his business. There is something truly special about black cats.

I haven't seen those cat photos before, nor have I seen the film, but I've read The Black Cat short story, and I think it's easily Poe's most terrifying
and vicious story. It's just written in such a disgustingly effective way. It plays with your emotions and you're not sure whether to feel empathy or
hate for the main character. Or even the cat!

I had seen those photos before and always likes them . I myself have 2 black cats they are mother and daughter mom is Salem and daughter is Luna they are so well behaved they are nothing like what i was expecting they are well loved by myself and my family.
Black cats are terribly sweet. Highly recommended. They seem to linger after passing more than other cats. You'll see them in the shadows. They'll cross the room at the edge of your vision. Or jump on your bed late at night in the dark.

Ive had 2 black cats both I named midnight they were both all black and both grew enormous I miss them both lost one to cancer about 10 years ago and then lost my other to a bladder blockage only 2 years ago
Fun Fact..Basil Rathbone was a WW1 British veteran and was awarded the Military Cross for bravery and he was a Fencing Champion in the military while serving. His skills were so good he taught actors like Errol Flynn and Tyrone Powers how to fence and could best anyone on screen he faced but being the villain lost. He was a devout believer in ESP due to his mother having saved his family due to a premonition she had about a ship they booked passage on moving to the UK from South Africa. Having convinced his father to take a later ship proved prophetic since the one she had a vision of sank with all aboard being lost in the Bay of Biscayne. Like many actors Rathbone had a nickname amongst his peers and it was rather odd since he was called Ratter by those that knew him well. The five lead cast members would reunite in Comedy of Terrors and Price, Lorre and Karloff did The Raven as a comedy as well with a young Jack Nicholson in it as well...🎃

Black cats are good luck that's why the Egyptians had so many black cats because their belief was that they were good luck and help keep them healthy and well and even kept them safe. I really believe that to. I love cats I've had about 18 in my life and I can say that I was very lucky to of had a couple black cats they are some of the sweetest cats you could ever have. I love that anthology movie! One of my favorites. I love Peter Lorre especially, he was such a character and every part he did, he did with vigor. I always thought the kitty in it was one of the actor's or a set person's pet. It's kindof cute that he held auditions for an "unknown". I hope they gave the pet parents the pictures of them with the kitties. Could you imagine walking by the audition line that day and being a black kitty lover?! My little black heart would have had a cuteness attack! I have a black kitty myself. She is a long hair cuttie pie named Laluna Mew( yes she has a last name). She's a prissy, stoner kitty (catnip only) that loves to snuggle, apparently she likes to play with wigs I found that out recently, she loves biting bugs in half an leaving them to die (I call her a sadist for that), and she loves hunting lizards. When we got her as a kitten, we gave her the day of Halloween as her birthday because we didn't know exactly when she was born, but it suits her for sure. She is very loved and there is something always very special about your first black kitty. It almost seems like they find you by magic. Neither the black cats I had when I was a kid nor the one we had while my son was growing up would have been suitable. They were too sweet and Jaguar (the one my son named and lived for 15 years) was too goofy.

I have a black cat and he has the most personality I've ever seen. He talks to me all the time and even greets me at the door, he is literally my baby. But...he has a foot fetish 😭 he will go out his way to smell your used socks and feet, we love his little quirks though!
