Girl I REALLY truly feel you. My 5 month old is a big boy and my milk supply has basically stopped. I cried many nights struggling with the idea that I can’t provide for my baby… but you have to remember: a fed baby is a happy baby. The regular formulas won’t hurt him. He will be okay, and he will grow strong and happy and healthy and with a momma that loves him so much. If you’re not ready to stop pumping, don’t. Mix the 2-4 oz you pump with the formula bottle so he’s still getting all your nutrients ❤️ You’ll know when you’re ready to stop. But also, he’s 5 months! Pretty soon he’ll be done with milk anyways! So don’t stress about the reg formula too much. He’ll be eating jar food, and table food soon! 😊 One thing I know, is I had to stop watching other moms that could pump 12 oz in 30 mins on TikTok. That made me cry and feel inadequate every single day. Be so thankful for the 5 months so far that you’ve been able to feed him! Some mommas don’t even get that 😢. And look how big and strong he got from it!❤️🥰 He needs you at your best, not stressed. And I promise letting go a bit, is going to lift so much weight off of you. You’ve already got a lot going on; financially, being a mom of 2, etc. don’t add extra stress. You got this momma!!❤️🥰 you’ll know when to do what, and what feels right
You leading with the beginning statement already made me tear up and gave me so much strength🥺 you are very right with all of this😩 I need to remind myself of how well I show up for him and the comparison of mom journeys can be very draining and not the best. We all have our own experience and I do have to stop being so hard on myself 💛🙏 thank you Madison you’re the best for this
My beautiful niece... We all have struggled somewhere, somehow. You remember the struggle I had breastfeeding Ro. I used supplements which helped increase my supply. Also a company called Milky Mama was a God send. They have everything you need!! I ate their brownies daily!! Lol. Keep your faith, for God only sends you what He knows you need. I love you kiddo and if you need anything I'm here!!
