I work in electronics repair, and we get a ton of gaming PCs in from our business customers. Most of the PCs are Skytech PCs, and are either on AM4, or 10th/11th gen. Before working at the place I'm at now, I've never actually seen a CPU die, or worked on a system where the CPU was actually dead. I've salvaged PCs from burned homes/apartments, picked the up from dumpsters, and have had several PCs that were very aged (Pentium 2/3, 1st gen Athlons), but never have I seen so many cpus dead. Not a single one of these systems had dead CPUs, but somehow regular PC users are just killing CPUs by using them. Almost every dead Intel PC that we get is a dead CPU (10th and 11th gen i5), and almost every AMD system that we get has a dead motherboard (aside from the 5600X/5600G systems which also seem to have a really high failure rate of CPUs).
    very odd times we're in.

I was shocked to see it retails for $590 from the manufacturer PassMark, my mind is blown. It comes with a software suite that can monitor via USB to a laptop so this is shop level tech from a bit of an inconspicuous device! I'm really impressed!

Think sending it back to the manufacturer is better than sending it to Amazon in this case. Never know what they might do if it doesn't get sent back to whomever shipped it out in the first place. Could end up back in the market as an open box or put into those return piles that get auctioned off and you wouldn't exactly want that to happen knowing the product is dead.
Though in my case I'd probably include a note or something with the return both outside the package and inside, just in case, that the product was DOA and doesn't work just to prevent a resell of it.

00 is such a weird Q Code... I had that on my x570 Dark Hero with my 5900X and buddy of mine had the exact same issue of 00. Chip wasn't dead in either case and in my specifically I kept getting a BSOD in regards to memory regardless of which Ram kit I used with the DOCP or manual OC to the specs of the ram.
Ended up switching to a ASRock X570 Taichi RE and both kits worked just fine. Haven't had a single issue.

🥳🎉Happy New Year to you & your family Greg,
So is the next Episode of FoF the one where you tried to fix your hair leading to your haircut?😂
P.s Yeah ended up being Happy New Year instead of Happy Thanksgiving 😁

I used to work in the assessment and intake of broken computers at a repair shop. We didn't do too much with the computers other than verify details like data status or physical damage, but I 100% thought the same fan model that hit your hand was not spinning multiple times, so don't feel too embarrassed!

I really love the fault finding you do in these videos. Are you any closer to returning the AM4 CPUs to AMD for full diagnostics?

I've learned so much watching your videos. I swapped my son's computer into a new case and it wasn't booting. I started taking things out and it ended up being a bad USB 2 header.
