I use DHL too but I'm from Europe and the fees are so high. DHL has even the lowest fees. you pay 6€ fees from DHL plus 19% of the value of the item including the shipping every time you buy something outside from the EU. its such a pain. sorry for my English, it's my 3 language
used Buyee a few times to get rare Tamiya model kits, was good to begin with but it seems that the P&P onwards seems to have risen steply, 4 kits to the UK £100 yet ordered 6 kits from a japanese shop using a more expensive shipper for £50
i just got scam by buyee . i won bid the item just 5gram . when at warehouse the item be 170gram . and the shipping be so expensive . please someone can help me . can i terminate my credit card from bank ?
ahh yeah buyee can be stressful 😭 i also have been using neokyo a lot recently! they have lower prices for their fees but they are a bit slower, i like them too because you can translate all the descriptions of the products into english so you can confirm you’ll get what’s in the picture! now that i’ve been using the services for about a year i haven’t been scammed at all and i order all the time!
iim seriously stopping Buyee. Hidden fees, charges for consolidation and stuffs the box with useless crap to make it heavier. It is my second and last time using them. There are other and better proxy companies
oh i 100% agree, and actually haven’t used buyee since 2020 myself. i stopped using them after they didn’t approve of the content in one of my videos and said they would suspend my account if i didn’t take it down. since then i’ve heard a lot of negative reviews of the site as well which probably would have led me to make the same decision in the end even without my own negative experience. unfortunately it seems that either they (or mercari japan itself not rlly sure who is to blame as it’s all speculation at this point) are bound and determined to create a monopoly on the japanese proxy market, with neokyo being the latest victim. hoping that some of their competitors can weather the storm! it’s a shame that the worst of the worst has the biggest hold on the market 😪
Yess I agree like they added random cardboard pieces without any sense to my package to make it heavier. Like seriously ??? then I used Neokyo , I was unhappy about the site too so I switched to a other site. the best one that I found till now.
it depends on your country! i hear that a lot about the us that ppl don’t get hit with customs fees! i wish i lived there lol that would be really nice
Since this video is getting some views lately i just want to note that i no longer support buyee and have not ordered from them in over a year.
I’d be very thankful if you could share a safer alternative that is not the amaz-ing one.
@@JaviuntComedyneokyo is really good!
I love the way that you set out the prices, shipping and all that, tysm!! it gave me some very useful information
I used DHL when I bought on buyee in 2021 and was never charged any customs fee, but I assume it's because I'm from the U.S.
True, been using them for a bit and haven't come across this
