Hi Travis , and all , Rohan here , I love how you talk about the older cars , I have some porsches but not have those liveries you have there so , but I have some , there still few porsches I not own yet, so , I love porsches so they awesome , so , I see my gp about my heart scan so hope good news , I got fair bit vintage stuff , so I buy where possible , so am not on ebay at moment I off to Toyworld next month , so I not be there 4months , so I make up lost time so , sadly I live by myself , thats how it is so , Im no parent , I just a big kid , love my slot cars they awesome , so my Scalextric the best , vintage and modern , all mine analogue , so that great , more to come , great , like your channel , please talk about more older vintage scalextric if ya can , my hobby , been so cool , so fantastic , slot cars great , ❤
The blue needed new tyres as the have huge flat spots, I might be able to sand out. The black were actually pretty good but 2 laps in and the pinion is moving off the shaft
I’ve had the same issue with a couple old Ones I got .The old superglue some times works if you don’t want to replace the pinion but depends how bad the crack in them is
Not modified; I have three like that, all were bought Brand New. It was when they stuck the brake lights on the Porsche cars. Just after they changed from the awful screw in and plate headlamps that came before this idea. I have the blue/yellow and it's sister white Heuer version with red. Must look for the Texaco Havoline one now. Also need the red one with lights that goes with my black one.

I have done the super glue trick but I might invest in a metal pinion

The.lights.work.when.your.moving,but.scalextric.kept.trying.new.stuff..also.those.metal.plates.must.be.either.an.Aussie.thing.or.aftermarket,i've.got.a.few.old.(70's/80's)Porsche.cars.and.none.have.that.plate,they.didn't.bring.in.magnets.until.the.Ferrari.testerossa.times,you'd.have.a.field.day.over.here(uk)..the.prices.for."vintage".cars.are.low..example.that.Havoline.porsche.=£14.99.uk..fly.cars,unused.=£40.uk...hope.these.notes.are.of.use..i'm.just.trying.to.help...
