Sir, Those eggs are amazingly gorgeous! I do appreciate you sharing this video with us worldwide. I shall forward it to my brother; he'd love it! This is indeed very informative and fascinating. May our Dear Lord forever bless you and those wonderful beauties (hens and roosters). Thank you🙏❤️
Great work! Congratulations! I've been looking for such a video! I'll follow your information and I'll let you know of the results. Keep up the great work!
I love this video and the concept behind it. A suggestion for future videos would be to put together sample combination of different types of homestead livestock. I.e. a chicken, pig, cow breed that would work well together, or a turkey, sheep, cow that is cold tolerant. So video options!
Lovely and informative video, although the Swedish Isbar is not the only chicken that lays a green egg, the Shetland chicken is a pure breed that lays a green egg. coming from the Shetland Isles off of Scotland.
You left out some info about the Ameraucana. When hubby & I had our hobby farm, we had them. While they did produce soft-blue eggs, they also produced a soft-green , pink, and occasionally a lavender. Each chicken will only produce one color, whatever that color, so you could have a flock with all one color. Also, Ameraucana is sometimes called by another name (I forget the actual spelling but, something like, Auacana). Otherwise, I loved learning about the other 6 breeds.
Good video. I’m getting welsummers this coming spring. I might eventually get some Americanas too. If so I’ll breed the darker egg laying welsummer hens to an Americana rooster to see if I could get some green speckled eggs. Good video
I had the black copper marans and the welsummer chickens. They did not lay large eggs, but small to medium and only 3-4 per week. From my personal experience Ill never buy welsummer again because their eggs were just a bit darker brown and small and few. One didnt lay at all. But they have friendly personalities towards people and other chickens.
Marans have a secondary aspect, a good one. The pore size of the eggs is smaller and is supposed to prevent the entry of salmonella bacteria from entry into them.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful information. I was wondering is it possible that you can give us a link to where we can actually purchase the chicken, Please recommend The wholesalers that you use. Also I just need to know That We're just talking about chickens right? But to start we need chicken and roosters can you help me with that I know we need chicken and boosters but we need chicken and bruster's of the same breed to get the results that you are showing us?
Thanks for watching. You only need females (hens, poulets) to get eggs. Roosters are only required if you intend to breed your own chickens. Most or all of these breeds are available at Murray McMurray hatchery if you live in the United States. If you can't find them there or live in another country, do a search.brave.com search to find a reputable breeder in your region.
It's absolutely hilarious when I see people paying more for colored eggs. What a waste of money but if they're that stupid, then go ahead and take advantage of them. I have a variety of egg colors also, but I also know that it has nothing to do with the nutrition or value of the eggs at all. It's nice to have the different colors, but I sure wouldn't pay more to get them.
There is nothing like a wonderful basket of colourful eggs! 😍😍

Wonder why Cream Legbar and Araucana are not mentioned. Are they not that common in America like here in Germany?
They are here, but they aren't as easy to get and are usually pretty expensive.
I like my Cream Legbars and they are a nice friendly birds.
Thanks for sharing
Hope it was inspiring.

I been looking around in Pennsylvania but no luck, can you hit me up with the name of your breeder
Would you be able to do a video about reindeer like keeping them on the farm please I'd love to get more information about them?
I'll look into it. I have done one on Elk.
@@LivestockBreeds thanks very much I'd love information on them and I've watched and liked it it's a very good video and very educational
Do all chicken eggs in color taste the same?
Basically, yes.
Yes! I h ad a flock of 50 and produced "rainbow" eggs. All pretty much the same. But why settle for boring?
Yes. And all are far superior to the pale yolked white eggs in the grocery store💕
Marans have a secondary aspect, a good one. The pore size of the eggs is smaller and is supposed to prevent the entry of salmonella bacteria from entry into them.
Nice!
Thanks for watching.
Pink eggs so, pretty thank you..! To hot here can the chicken lay eggs.
Thanks for watching. Chickens are jungle fowl, they can adapt to any environment inhabited by humans.
Not all breeds would be productive in hot climates. You would need find a breed that can tolerate the heat.
How can order a fertile eggs.
I don't actually own these animals. Do a search.brave.com search to find a breeder in your region.
Good
