Plant garlic in the fall, a few weeks before the first frost, to help the cloves establish strong roots before winter. they say to buy the bulbs in the gardening center
I live in Central Washington State, where we'll lilely be getting a first frost in a couple of weeks. Yesterday, my husband planted upwards of 90 cloves of garlic harvested in late June or so from bulbs he planted last Fall. Each one will produce a full bulb. He has done this method successfully for a number of years😊 He does onions, too. But buys seed sets.
Lots and lots of recipes online for bread making using the Kitchen Aide. I do it all the time--one of my goals when I retired 4 years ago was learning to bake with yeast. I do well but still learning. I have yet to make a loaf of Italian bread successfully. The dough is too soft and tends to just flatten out on the first rise. Annoying! But I will keep trying.
Have you been able to give up any of your old cookware since you have an abundence of new stuff? I know it's hard to do, unless of course they just can no longer serve their purpose! Enjoy your new kitchen toys!! They should last forever!
@@baseballnan55 not yet, but my plans are to def do that. I want to donate them to places that can utilize them to help people. Doing research where the best places are..😀
Oh.!!!New stainless steel pans...now you got 2 new sets.....I still have 2 s.s medium pots of my mama's with a copper bottom she got at her wedding they got married 1949.
I always feel like such an underachiever watching TH-cam cooking shows. Our dinner tonight was a baked salmon filet my husband caught in Alaska a month ago, boxed rice pilaf, a packaged green salad, and fresh Honeycrisp apple slices 😅 I alway find pastas take longer than the cooking directions. Egg noodles are close, but even angel hair needs a couple minutes more, longer for bigger pastas.
I don't even time it I just throw pasta in boiling water for shoot idk 5 minutes or so it trial&error then I test it eating a strand.....it's just guess work
I wouldn’t want to be in my 20’s I would be just starting my nursing career and in todays world idk if I have it in me to work another 35 years I am trying to last til I can retire I’m only 55 and have been working in this field since I was 21… I know I have a few years to go But to say that I’m exhausted is an understatement… I just want to NOT work! ( I’m so grateful to have a great job) just such an overwhelming career …😢
Btw i love your countertops yep its the only thing i hate about the refrigerator when its full......i cant find a thing.oh gosh you have family in Fl? Have you talked to them& evaluate?
