- I was invited to this church in Fullerton California where Brian shared with us his testimony. He came out on Easter away from his home and family just to talk to us. I have always been a KoRn fan so I had to go. I'm happy to see he is doing better with his life and starting his new awesome band Love and Death.
Recovering drug addict here. I completely identify with everything Brian is saying. Being clean and sober is the most amazing thing ever.
I didn't cry until Brian said that it was like the Bible was reading him instead. I can relate to that a lot.
Finding god and being saved is the only reason I'm clean today. The Christian community saved my life. So glad Brian found god and now is back with korn living right.
this was AWESOME!!!! I just got baptized this Sunday 1-21-2013,at the age of 41...years of drug abuse, a broken home...and ironically a huuuuge Korn fan. Brian "Head" is a huge inspiration!!! GOD IS GREAT!!! #WARRIOR
I am not a religious person at all, but Head's story is absolutely inspirational.

Brian has a nice voice. I love the fact that he mainly did this all for his daughter, he's a great dad. Truly has my respect.

I know there has been a lot of negative backlash about Brian after he left Korn but him dedicating his life to god and sharing his story that is just awesome. He has done a lot of things in recent years to help not only himself but others; I wish to meet this guy one day and tell him of my testimony as well and how I indeed am also a metal musician but a man of god. Head thanks a lot man truly you are an inspiration to us all.
It's so amazing when the Holy Spirit takes over and starts speaking pure truth. Nothing on earth is more powerful and impactful to the human race
Head's book and changes helped me kick i 10 year herion coke and pill addition and get back to God for my family still have my flaws and i like most of em but you have ta get the negative out

what I was Baker acted in the hospital for something involving pain pills nurse told me about the website I am second and I immediately read Brian Head Welch is watched his story and it changed me and it helped me get off of pain pills so Brian from the bottom of my heart thank you the Lord used you to save me as well god bless you

The song "Amazing Grace" keeps playing in my mind when I listen to great testimony from a guy who has found his Deliverance! Praise God! I'm sure Brian Welch gets through to a lot of 'lost sheep'...

Omg! He came a week after to a Church here in NC. Super awesome guy. After the service i gave him a hug and you could just feel the love flowing through him. Its like what hugging Jesus would be like lol Awesome experience to hang out with him. Loved korn for 10 yrs so this was just awesome

im so glad that one of the musicians i listened to throughout childhood has come to christ. listening to korn got me through so much angst in my childhood, im glad to see people like this whove been on the wrong side of the tracks so to speak come to christ. god bless brain welch
Korn has gotten me through a lot, since High School. I'm a Christian and was so disappointed when Head left Korn, then I found out why, and I couldn't have reapected Head more. Read his book Save Me From Myself, it's a great, easy read. I hate when other Christians persecute me for listening to Korn, and the other rock bands I listen too. They just don't get it. It is nice to meet another true Korn fan. God bless you.

Thank you for sharing this...I cried seeing all the souls Brian saved with his testimony. I accepted Jesus Christ on 12/22/11 and it was the best thing I have ever done...My 12 year old son accepted Jesus Christ the very nest day. My sons best friend read the gospel to him and the day before his friends Dad did the same for me......Brian I am so proud of you. I never was much of a Korn fan but now I just love your music...Thank you thank you thank you

I've been there man. I'm an agnostic but I respect what Christ taught us. I was a Catholic from birth to age 16. Being religious against my will made me hate God and life and religion and people. I had crappy friends, was chronically depressed, been in the psych ward, on medication. Eventually you come around to realize that even if God doesn't exist, life is amazing and that life IS worth living. Music and writing in my notebook saved my life and gave me a new appreciation for "God".

Bro Jesus Loves you. There is no better feeling than the love of God our saviour Jesus Christ. Being able to live life loved provides this type of love to everyone you encounter. You don't need to do anything to be loved by God. He already loves you! I prayed to God as he called on me through my anger & he said that I should forgive myself, this is the day my eyes opened and my life literally changed over night. Pray to God and ask him to help you forgive yourself. I'm praying for you brother!!!

Pray for all in the music industry to not compromise but seek Godly wise council by Him & others. we need more hard music like a Christ centered sober bar with various genres of music. Add in comedy food and a quiet area dedicated for prayer. If this could happen it would be awesome for all.

I felt the same way brother, I hope you are still fighting and continuing to overcome this challenge. I pray for you. I'm also fighting the challenge and it is hard. Some will believe its a joke but its not. Its a real thing and its hard and some don't know what its like but one day I will break free from this addiction.

I had the same issue as well. The Lord is so good though. He showed me that to truly understand Scriptures on a deeper level, I needed to first just meditate on Him and just worship Him. Acknowledge His position as Almighty God, exalt Him as the Creator, then ask to be forgiven and cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Cleansing is critical because its after that, you ask the Holy Spirit to indwell you and open your heart to understanding the Bible. Hope this helps. God Bless.

It still shocks me how much Brian looks like Jesus.
There is also the "NIV once a day Bible for women" that is very well done. That is the one I am using and it is broken in 365 days. You can start whenever you want and each day there is a passage from the Old Testament followed by a passage from the New Testament and ending with a psalm/proverb. It makes it SO MUCH easier to read the Bible. And there is a very short (few lines) devotional at the end of each day (often relating to women). The devotional is based on one of the passages of the day

I'm not a christian. But it really makes me see Christians in a good light when I see them coming to the aid of someone in trouble. I wish all Christians were this nice instread of a lot of them having so much hatred for anything that isn't christian. Maybe these are the angels that the bible talks about. Insanity401, what if the comments that these kind people have posted in response to your's was the voice of God? He may be responding to your prayers right before your eyes.

I don't want life if it means remaining inferior. It's always been like this, things others can do with ease, is so much harder for me to get. If I can't be made into something strong, I wish God would have never Created me. I cannot forgive myself for my failures, I won't allow it.

How can you live through someone? I can understand the feeling of being able to die for someone because they deserve to live and I do not, but I can't comprehend what it means to live for someone. I have only lived for nothing, and I've always hated and despised myself. Ever since I could remember I have wanted to die and I'm only 18.
The fact that you know what you are doing, that is your first step. Get help and get closer to God, I was just like you, get away from the people that have the influence on you and you will wake up one day feeling clean, spiritually strong and a new person! I will pray for you.
