I didn't think I knew more than Max. mr qojqva 2points I'd like to share with you:
1. you can't get jungle items if you're last hitting creeps with Riki's E. you're techincally not there. just like puck's E.
2, if you hit the jungle creeps once before usiing your E they don't just run off to the next city.
Wow than you so much for the second tip. Before aghanim using E on jungle camps is a game of optimizing the location of the spell lol

Small tip from a low ranked lvl 30 Riki: if you're playing against Necro, anything with Radiance, Veno etc. - you probably want to get a damage item (preferably Daedalus, unless you really need Nullifier) + Satanic ASAP, because it makes a difference between not being able to stay in prolonged fights (because you just run out of HP over time) and actually benefiting from them (due to your low CDs). With Satanic, your E heals you up to full most of the time, and Satanic active + W can also save you from a rough spot. You don't have to be as scared in teamfights anymore, because if they can't burst you 100 to 0, they're unlikely to kill you (especially with lvl 25 talents).
For most of this game, you did not (and probably could not) have the damage to end fights quickly and you did not have the sustain to constantly disengage and re-engage, so you just had to run away a lot of the time.
Overall, Satanic is amazing on Riki in most games. Also: Daedalus (because other damage items don't add as much damage to your backstab), unless you really need other items (like Nullifier here). Also also: if you can fight on top of enemy creeps, this facet lets you not only heal up even better, but potentially do greatly increased damage to enemy heroes thanks to weird Aghs shenanigans.
And yes, Octarine feels amazing on Riki if you have the slots for it. Which you usually don't.

For slow starting games like this, bfury performs a lot better than diffusal. Since cleave works on backstab, it lets riki farm stacks really fast with this facet. It solves his mana issues so he can spam e on every camp or every other camp based on the pattern he's taking. He can farm faster than most carries with it. This comes at the cost of diffusal's snowball potential. But if you know you will not be getting kills, then bfury secures your scaling anyways. It's not like a fed riki will struggle to kill a fed enemy as well. Having a bfury, aghs, and daedalus at 25 minutes or earlier is terrifying for everyone. Diffusal doesn't have a proper place in this build simply due to the strong synergy of the other items scaling on top of each other.
This is around ~7k mmr but people do sleep on how reliably fast riki with this facet farms with it at all ranks

in most games you can afford to buy both, but this game was rough and required a different build to address bigger issues
