@hhh lol, Even there are lots of things Magar have adopted from the Gurung community. I know Kaura belongs to Magars but don't claim Ghatu as yours. I have seen only a few Magars dancing Ghatu and they have just a little knowledge of it. You better visit Bhujung, Sikles then you will know what Ghatu actually is and its type. Even there is Rodhi basne Chalan in the Magar community but Rodhi word itself is a Gurung word. And Kaura dance was also originated from rising of Tanahun and Magar claims Kaura as their own but the truth is that rising of tanahun has a large number of Gurung community living there since ancient time. So Kaura belongs to Gurung of rising too. There are no any proof which says Sorathi, Salaijo belongs to magar because there are other communities including Grg,dura, darai, kumal who also practice such dances. Gurung never followed magar but Magar adopted hindu culture and they even copied Gurung in terms of dress, culture etc. Ghalek is not a magar dress its a grg dress but magars wears it. The actual magar dress is what rolapali, rukumeli and its surroundings wears. The magar dress that matches with Grg dress is a carbon copy of Grg dress.

@@prakashgurung4638 ok let me clear u. There is 18 magarat and 12 magarat. The magar people of rolpa, rukum that u r talking about r 18 magarati. In 18 magarat there are kham and kaikey magars who speaks kham and kaikey bhasa where as we magar people from 12 magarat speak magar dhut which is the old bhasa of 12 magarati magars. 12 magarati and 18 magarati have a lot of differences in terms of jewellery, language, culture and tradition, religion and even dress. Magar dress worn by the magarnis of 18 magarat is not the actual dress of 12 magarati magars. Each and every magar communities have their own kind of magar dress. And we haven't copied your dress if u look carefully we wear lungi or tik tikey gunyue(3-4 meter long tide as fariya) at the bottom, teyki and yellow or green patuki and on top we were chaubandi choli, ghalek and majhetro on the shoulder where as gurungnis wear gunyue pleated and tucked in the side of their waist, tikish and blue patuki. And on top chaubandi choli, ghalek and thaan ko majhetro. Both magar and Gurung dress might look same but the style of wearing is totally different.
And about ghalek we magarnis were ghalek and it is one of our tradition dress. Do you know the reason for wearing ghalek?? I bet u don't. In old times women used to tie their babies on their back with ghalek, they used to use ghalek as a bag(jhola) to carry fruits and many other things. Yes i agree that the idea of wearing velvet ghalek came later on but before that they use to wear ghalek made from nepali kabada or pahadi kapada.
And kauda is a magar word. Gurung people call chudka or chudki. Maruni is one of the traditional dance of magars and from maruni different other kinds dance forms were originated i.e sorathi and hurra.

lol, you don't need to teach me I know everything better than you. But first, enlighten your friend, look what he has said he said we adapted everything from the Magar community wtf! Let me tell you, I think you know Bhangra/gaadho right? do you know who does the bhangra actually belongs to, of course, the Gurung community, In ancient time there were no such fabric like we wear today and at that time gurung used to make such bhangra, bhakku using wool of sheep's and sisno(still they make today). Gurung were Shepherd and used to live in the lap of mt Annapurna to manasalu.Whereas you already said dress worn by 18 magarat is a real magar dress and they were the inhabitant of Tanahun, syangja, Chitwan which is somehow near to inner terai of Nepal and thats impossible such dress which was originated in the himalayan region when such velvet fabirc wasnt even introduced in Nepal cant be of Magar of such place. Gurung used to make such dress using the wool of sheep as they were the shepherad but later magar adapted the culture of wearing bhangra/gaadho whatever. I agree kaura belongs to magars but Maruni isnt(no any proof yet).Even Rodhi word itself is a Gurung word but magar also use it.

@@prakashgurung4638 After reading your comment i have to educate u my friend. Firstly magars originally used to live near dhaulagiri and kaligandagi region which is mountain region. Their main occupation was making chhurpi( they still make), agriculture and animal farming i.e chicken, sheep and yak. Magars were also shepherd. Because they were shepherd they also used to make cloths from sheep wool. Later on magars started to migrate all over the nepal and formed 12 magarat and 18 magarat. After the migration magars mainly inhabited in palpa, gulmi and sanjya. In these places sheep wools were not available so they started cotton farming and started making cloths from cotton. I guess now u r cleared about the magar origin.
Now, talking about gaado(ghanro we call it here)we haven't copied u guys. Before magars also used to make gaado from sheep wool but after migration they started making gaado from cotton wool. Gaado is same like ghalek but worn on the back by guys. It was also used as a carrying bag to carry things. Even naga people were same like gaado made from sheep wool. Does that mean naga people have copied from Gurungs no right. Like same ways we haven't copied u. It is just a co-insidence that people of different places had a same idea of making the same thing and wearing it in a same way. And i have never wrote 18 magarati magar people dress is the original magar dress. I have written that different magar communities have their own dress.
Maruni was started by the magars migrating from weast nepal to east nepal. If u don't believe then ask your elders or google it. And what is this rodhi??? I haven't heard about it. I am from palpa and we don't have anything called rodhi here.
