Hearing this song from Roots brings back bittersweet memories for me. January 1977 was when it aired and it was the talk on everyone's lips. I was a high school junior at the time. Remember daddy watching it with us and discussing things afterwards. Sadly, he died in an accident that following spring. It's poignant to hear this song after so many years.

In a few years europeans will beg to enter Africa as it's the main source of the world's resources and humanity's future will depend on that beautiful continent. Africa is One. Always been always will. Limits and boundaries were created by europeanns. Let them live isolated for the few years remaining for them.
