it seems like Elsa Peretti single handedly built the edgy aesthetic that so many fashion fans are influenced by today. Her designs have a superb element to them that just gets stuck in my thoughts, personally. What a testament to human creativity ..
I've come here after watching Halston on Netflix. The question it raises for me is, why are the great women artists overlooked for egotistical male artists and designers? She was treated as a bit part in the Halston story, but the more I learn about her it is obvious she was an astonishingly talented and uniquely spirited woman and led a far more interesting, philanthropic and productive life than Halston.
Well because the show is called Halston, not Peretti. When they make a show called Peretti, Halston will be treated “as a bit part in the Peretti story”.
My family has collected Tiffany pieces for generations. My great grandparents started the tradition back in the 1910s! We all have various Tiffany pieces. When my grandmother died I was given her entire Peretti collection. I never knew the history behind them. This was a very cool video to watch for me. I understand why granny loved Elsa. Its obvious she admired her.
I had no idea that Tiffany’s iconic designs were designed by Elsa Peretti. Respect! Now I know, after hearing about discovering her via Halston on Netflix.
Elsa Peretti was an iconic designer for Tiffany in the 70's like Paloma Picasso was in the 80's. I remember that for years all I saw of Tiffany's ads were Elsa's designs. She has been a world renown designer for a long long time.
These beautiful talented humans give us all these beautiful gifts and then they die! It seems so unfair! Someone should’ve sat down with her and let her tell her story on video! She was a walking treasure! RIP beautiful one ❤️🙏🏽
"I like for people to give me orders, but i hate it when they are wrong". Man I can relate to that. I dont want be in charge, I just want to crate cool shit and be left alone.
To her father: I am free. The right of all people. She personified That human right that transcends religion and government, and social constructs…all of them. Thus she freely discovered the universe and converted that to beauty. Amen.
Great show, but I admit that the snapping of take-board is pretty annoying. I feel it contradicts the Peretti smoothing style. But that`s probably just me :)
Awesome artist. She extols self-deprecation when speaking of her talent in comparison to Halston and Charles James. Not so,Ms Peretti. You are a genie in the true since. My only admonishment is that clapper.Tacky and not worthy of Ms.Peretti or anyone else of this caliber

Class all the way!
Yo la he conocido y fue una mujer fascinate, maravillosa, no hay adjetivos para poder calificarla. Donde estés, un beso muy grande 😘😍❤️
I have her bone cuffs. I have her scorpion necklace. I love her aesthetic and her personality. It's a shame she's gone.

R.I.P. Elsa Peretti
She finished well.
Fabulous

Brava
She left us as well. First Alber now her: it seems like true elegance has chosen in 2021 to move to the 7th heaven.
Great show, but I admit that the snapping of take-board is pretty annoying. I feel it contradicts the Peretti smoothing style. But that`s probably just me :)
Same ^
I realize that "E" of The Incredibles is a combination of Elsa Peretti and Edith Head. Anyway, I love her clean organic designs.
18:37 “Think about when you design.”
What a crazy luxurious opulent decadence brilliant eccentric life
That poor goldfish...zero creature comforts.
Love you Elsa Perreti 💕 By the way .. where can I get that FISH 🐠 BOWL???!?!?! 🤩

I can only think of the poor goldfish stuck in such a tiny place for aesthetic purposes..... stopped watching 😣😣
Those leggggggggsssss though....🤩
Using a fish in a tiny and empty glass as a mere object for decoration purposes... D.I.S.G.U.S.T.I.N.G.
Du sel s'il vous plait
Love her so much. But you have to admit she was higher than James brown here.
Maybe it's the ptsd
Go slowly.
Leenda
Her mouth speaks in english but her body speaks in italian. So funny.
She was still on coke till the end😂
“She was lucky” who tf narrated this? Awful
The wicked gram temporarily walk because passive comparatively snore vice a rigid ounce. tedious, sparkling hen
She is like a man 😂
And still that man is 1000 % more classy than you
Her English still was bad
And?
