CLARIFICATION 🙏😇 Dear Viewers, Everything I shared here on this video is only what I was told by the villagers and what they know. TAKE MY VIDEO AS AN ICEBERG AND NOT A PROOF. LET THIS VIDEO'S OPEN OUR EYES FOR MORE RESEARCH STUDY. About the tree (history) (2 trees are there) 1. The tree on the video was naturally grown and not planted by humans. Through this tree the women conceived and gave birth to 3 children (Spirit, Tiger, and Man). Through the man, the generation grew and spread to different places is what they believe (it can be mythological, but I am not saying it is truly mythological nor it's truly a fact. Just shared what I heard and I was told). This tree is not related to the history of KOZA's migration to Kozabomi (said by Makhel Village) 2. There is another tree around Makhel Village area, but I couldn't cover that in the video. This tree, was said be grown because of KOZA's journey and resting at that place. During KOZA'S journey, they were using a supporting stick while walking, and when they rested near Makhel, they placed the stick firmly on the ground on vertical position. When, they left, they had not taken back the stick. Finally, the stick developed roots and started to grow into a tree. This tree is later described as a witness to the story of KOZA's migration and resting in the Makhel area. (Even this story I am not saying it's truly a fact or its mythological. It can be both ways) ° About the story of Tenyimia, there are many who agree and many who disagree with their origination from Makhel Village or Khezhakeno Village. My learnings and advices: • Every Village have some oral history, which have physical appearance and witness (but it can be both mythological or facts) • Our Naga history is very rich and it's truly a high time to preserve it with proper research, study, aggreement and proofs. • There are many history of Naga people, even there are different history about the origin and migration of Naga people, but still there is not a single book by Nagaland University, history department claiming this is the truth and this is about Naga. Everyone is using a word 'might be'. • It will be really good, Naga students (history department) or any other departments starts documenting the history with support from History Department of Nagaland University. We must have a book which we all accepted and share with others that this is original Naga People History. • There are many individual written books with clear history and proofs, but still not recorded by history department of Nagaland University for teaching at university or scholarship level. Naga people is rich in history, culture, tradition, warrios, and many more and Naga people must always be rich in all possible ways. LONG LIVE NAGA PEOPLE LONG LIVE NAGA PEOPLE UNITY Thank you for reading,
Yes, Thanks for the proper clarification. The walking stick of Koza that grew to a big tree is at Shajouba Village. It's about few kms away from Makhel village and that Makhel tree. The walking stick tree of Koza is called Kashuchebo in Khezha (Kashu/Kushu means pointing or directing, Che means fruit, bo mean tree). As Koza and his folks were traversing the thick forest to this part of the region. They rested for sometime there looking for directions and this walking stick of Koza helped him navigate as it pointed towards present day Khezhakeno and that was how Koza finally settled at present day Khezhakeno.
@@VivorSolo The distance between Makhel & Sajouba and Khezakheno is just a few kilometres and as neighbouring Villages. In fact most of other Chakesang Villages migrated from Makhel, you may kindly refer the commemorative souvenir publication of 75th Years of CPO. You must know most of Southern Angamis directly migrated to present location from Makhel and never rest at Khezakheno. You may kindly confirm personally from them. Khezakheno settlement may be later to Makhel or settled at one point of time as Tenymie were all kindreds. You're misinformed about the Banyan tree. The first Mother (known as Dzüliamosüa) conceived the three children under the Marabu (Sacred Banyan Tree), not conceived through the tree. While she was resting under the tree, a layer of cloud enveloped her while she conceived her three sons. The three sons being Ora (God/Spirit), Okhe (Tiger) and Omei (Man). Few kilometres from Makhel (Makhrai Rabu), there is another Sacred Wild Pear tree at Charangho (Shajouba) which the Mao people call as Chütebu Kajü, which is considered as the dispersal site for the Tenyimi tribes. Those tribes has erected their own monoliths, attesting that they indeed dispersed under Chütebu Kajü (Sacred Wild Pear Tree). There are even recent monoliths where different Naga tribes from Manipur and Nagaland erected under Chütebu Kajü, testifying by way of carving/printing there agreement they once dispersed from Makhel. The legend goes on to say that cutting or harming the branch of Chütebu is strictly prohibited. If a branch of Chütebu breaks, te whole Tenyimi tribes observe Genna and abstain from work. This is done by passing oral announcement. (Shown in the video where a raised platform only used by the King to announce gennas in both Makhel and Khezhakeno). The message is passed on from village to village orally. The monoliths erected by different tribes can be seeing by anyone who visits Chütebu Kajü at Charanghomei (Shajouba) village. Oral history brings about variation and slight difference of the sequence of story. But they do prove one thing, that we share a common history. But the present day political differentiation has divided is so much to an extent where we consider our real brothers as someone different. Sad reality.
@@Appe_m I also heard this story from my parents which was passed down from their parents. I forgot the exact story but I remember that we all originated from under the khazuchebo.

If we don't know the history of our migration, let's ask and learn from our elders or resources available. Let us not distort or cook stories. Yes, we Nagas don't exactly know where we came from as we don't have script. Our history was passed down orally. So, during migration and with the passage of time, some might have forgotten and story became different.
