Not before they somehow fix t-mog limitations in Drac. form
I don't think there an actual problem with just giving them normal t-mog, but blizz is too lazy to remodel all armour pieces so they will fit, sad, but thats just the way it is and Im pretty sure they won't do that in any time soon.
I don't really get this complaint much because you can still tmog visage form. It's still way more customizable than druid forms and druid is like the most popular class despite spending all their time in bear/cat/tree form...
@@AwayukiPink Well, the customization options are very good, but still, you fight in dragon form, and you also fly in dragon form, not visage form, also, it would make more sense if visage form would basically be any race to choose from, because it makes more sense lore-wise, but that is somewhat okay, the thing most people don't like is the issue with the transmog in dragon form, because its not about the "we can't do that because its impossible" its just "we won't do that because we are lazy". Same thing goes for most allied races, they are in most % just reskins of already existing races, so the skeletons remain the same, same problem is with ears for trolls or elves, tusks for trolls and probably some other few issues, they clip through closed helmets, or just the general problem with clipping, its not an indie game company, its one of the most expensive game companies in the world and what I described is just pure laziness from their side.

@@AwayukiPink In case for druids its different the beast forms with armor would make no sense thematically., that is why people are fine with it, due to class fantasy. This is far different than drakthyr who are humanoid and use weapons and spell-casting thematically.
This is not to mention that arguably the vast majority who play the balance spec on druids use the glyph of stars to make their moonkin form go away.
People care about transmogg, it makes them feel good, at times even gives a sense of prestige, and not being able to see it in your combat form is extremely demoralizing.
You can make as many Dracthyr as you like now! They now start at level 10 in the same starter area as before!

Yeah if I can play pally with the movement abilities of a Dracthyr. I'd switch so fast

I don't think you'll get the movement abilities except for the skyriding. That would basically make every class way better as a dracthyr and insanely unbalanced.
@@aaronyayger racials are different tho. Wargon can use their movement racials as any class.
@@deftestaphid2026 Worgen don't get that movement in combat, though, bud. Being able to glide and have extra mobility mid combat inherently makes dracthyr better than every other race. No, you can't keep those abilities with the race, they need to stay with evokers as gliding stays with demon hunters and not night elves/blood elves.
@aaronyayger worgen can increase their movement speed by 20 or 25 percent like the rogue ability sprint. They have 2 racial abilities. The one you are thinking of is when they run on all fours which is basically a free mount. Even if they do keep their racials, they will only get a minor amount of people playing the race because alot of people are uninterested in being a scaly. Also the glide wouldn't make sense on other elven races obviously. But again dracthyr should still keep their racial abilities not evoker abilities.

I maybe kinda were excited for this if dracthyr's armor issue had been dealt with. plus they probably need to rework the race abilities to balance pvp.

In lore if I'm right worgen cannot be effected by the plague of undead, yet there are worgen DKs so why not a dragon?
The idea was they were immune to the plague but not to direct intervention by the Lich King.
we did have sindragosa but im not sure if the lich king can make more dks without helm of domination
In legion the DKs were going to bring back Tirion and res him as a DK. I don't think you need the helm of domination.
Drakthyr mage sounds pretty dope. I'll likely give that a shot if it happens.
More important would be to get the possibility to create chonky boi dragons aka dragonoids.

If we go purely from a lore perspective, i don't really see how priests or warlocks would make sense. Those classes are very peculiar in the lore and background, the requirements to become those classes. One requires a religious faith to light or darkness while the other sacrifices souls to fuel their power, in other words, you need to be pretty f**ked in the head to be a warlock which is not an issue for most races...but drakthyr, like dragons whose very being was shaped by titans? Its antithetical because they are about bringing order, not chaos and destruction.
Death knights would be an issue too, especially given the timeline, because there is no more Arthas, no more Bolvar...how would they even be raised? They are a unique class in regards to their introduction in the game.
blizz threw the whole race/lore issue away when they gave lightforged draenei the ability to become warlocks :D
@@schippes24 Fair point. At the very least they wouldn't be called lightforged anymore. I think you could justify it as being an in game mechanic than anything else, as in, no way to change it from a technical standpoint.
I too am not sure in relation to the law but let's be honest, the law has been "changed" more then once by now!
There is no lore for classes anymore. Blizz have already stated every class with be able to be any race. Tauren Rogues, Lightforged warlock, etc. Undead druid i guess too. The modern fan has no concept of lore or immersion. Everything is just "le whacy gonzo" suit-skin to wear.
@@DrMetropolis I do get that feeling yes and unfortunately for me that ruins WoW to a reasonably large degree. Class and race fantasy has always been a big part of the game in what seems like not so ancient past. If you played an orc warlock you knew who you were compared to undead or blood elves etc, it felt different.
