There's a reason why Jabba can headline a show in Vegas. They don't just Dance to move around... They tell a story and much more and their fluidity is too unique. No hating on Les twins and other groups out there, but Jabba remain the best in my opinion.

Ken Inao Music is art and art is subjective. The story of this dance is up to interpretation and if you didn't connect then it just wasn't for you. Stop name dropping individual dancers to (1) make yourself look good and (2) compare to the jabbawockeez. They are in a separate lane of dance the only other dancers you can compare them to in the kinjaz to some extent.
nahlateddybear what Les twins mostly do is intepret the music for you. Using the lyrics, vibe, and tone of the music they dissect and visually present the music. Jabbawockeez are not that, if you've been following them you'll know they're not about doing tricks and doing over the top choreography. They are writing and story with their dance for you to intepret. "You've got to free your mind but I can only show you the door, you're the one that has to walk through it" if you can't understand that then they are not for you.
I'm not listing other names to make myself look good (tf does that even mean??? lol), and I just find it amusing how lots of people think LT is only tricks when they can't do half the bboy tricks Jabba has used over the course of their career. People only see what they wanna see

You have a reputation and to risk that in an attempt to better yourselves is amazing. Known not only in the US but in other countries around the world, as well. There must be something to them that draws people, no matter what the naysayers say. I don't know if this still holds true today but in 2014 (?), they were on the list of the 10 dancers in the world with the highest net worth. They were the only crew on that list, all the others were individuals. and surprise, surprise - Derek Hough (remember this guy?) was on that list.

Too many of them copycat crews around the world - just look at those many vids claiming to be jbwkz when theyre clearly not (the outfits, aside from the sloppy movements, are a dead giveaway to jbwkz fans).
When the jabbawockeez first at the scene, it motivated me to get back into dance.. All these years later I have YET gotten back into dance. BUT, I'm still motivated! 😉😊

I teach my students foundation and advance work, but I stress to them to move with the music. This is how the music makes him feel and move. Just because they won one championship, does not mean that they have to top everything they do. If it doesn't feel right to them, then why do it? They are not here to constantly entertain us, at some point they have to do what's best for them. I bet some days they wish they can go back to Phil's garage and just dance for the love of it, not to please their fans everyday.
