I'm an old white woman and I get SNAP. Think of the whole picture. That money is spent at local grocery stores. Those stores have employees. SNAP money goes into the economy.
Being from Mississippi, I have been saying this for years. She is absolutely right.
Jasmine Crockett makes me realize more and more that we need to clear out Congress and fill it with smart and empathetic people just like her.
As a boomer, i'd vote for younger, caring people too. These older people who've collected so much money, don't even know what the average person is dealing with. I am proud to be a progressive too.

Not just for families with children. Also for one person households.
You don't have to have children to be able to recieve Snap benefits.
It's not just for people with children. Its also for people without children.
Also for senior citizens and any low income populations that meet the requirements! Not just for families with children! The farm bill not only impacts farmers, but also the truck drivers delivering the produce, dairy, meat. Grocery stores that employees depend on for income, communities that need these goods from farmers! It affects most Americans across the country if we don’t invest in our American farmers! 🤦🏽♀️

Tell them sis because people truly think that urban America are the majority of people that get snap benefits, when it's really rural America that get the majority of snaps benefits, but its more sensationalized among black people.
Facts. More white people are on SNAP benefits than black people.
Them folks know they are number one in receiving free things.
Whites get 37% and Blacks get 26%. More Blacks get snap per population because white is 71& and Black is 14%. Yes blacks get more free shit
same for all forms of Welfare. When I was setting g up free computers in welfare beneficiaries homes, most of them were not black, some in white middle class neighborhoods, some in Hasidic neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Imagine my shock after being fed the media falsehood it was mostly black people.
Them folks make up over 70 percent of Americas population so of course them folks are on snap benefits more than any other race in America but the only fact or number that matters when it comes to who receives snap benefits the most is the percentage by race numbers... black people are only 12 percent of Americas population but as a group are on benefits at a higher rate. So if white and black population was equal you would have higher numbers than white people. Also for what it's worth to you when it comes to what group of people pay into Americas tax system it's only white and Asian men. The black community cost America 90 billion a year. No one is taking anything from you, not enough white people's money to go around anymore with the massive numbers of illegal immigrants coming in to the country so be ready for budget cuts and having to share with the illegal immigrants that need help to.
And we don't forget the BLK FARMER

No farms, no food. Take care of the bees and the essential components of our food. Safe, tiny house communities are facing unnecessary, shallow, and purely cosmetic and arbitrary obstructions in the United States, when this may solve homelessness and poverty. SNAP is not welfare. Its part of the Farm Bill. The main beneficiaries of SNAP are wealthy rural farmers who get cash subsidies connected to SNAP.
And they drive around in trucks that cost $100k and act like they worked hard for them. When they are basically collecting welfare. I live out here and see it first hand.
