- a final display of the simple seatbelts that were shown in construction in the last video. They have been painted and fitted along with the scratchbuilt pedal assembly. I have retextured the carpet areas etc too,as they were totally smooth. #modelcar #custommodel #plasticmodelcars #scalemodel #modelcarseatbelts #howto #scratchbuilding #scalemodelcars #detailingmodel #amt #Round2 #revell #monogram #matchbox #tamiya #airfix
Ultra detailed in the cabin! And that texture and shading!

Looks good Pete. Something for me to try if I can ever finish this 1969 Ford Cobra kit.
That's got a very poor tub and is something else I'm detailing.👍🤔😃 Window winders,armrests and seatbelts. There's loads to be done😂😂
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Never mind "Adding Details", I'm just trying to get it to fit together! LOL!
@@MonsterHobbiesModelCarGarage Yes,it's certainly hours of fun with the Cobra kit,great value for money 😂😂😂
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 My friend, you have no idea!
I have done a total deep dive into this model kit, from the actual Ford history of the car to AMT's first edition in 1968 and all the other offerings, watching a ton of TH-cam videos where people build the kit and offer suggestions to the suggestions from my own YT friends and Facebook followers to even discovering issues with this kit that no one knows about.
I hope when my video comes out, it becomes the definitive video on how to fix this model. I sure have put a lot of time into these 2 kits I own. The only problem is that my video covers the early 2000's releases and not the current one which has all the new sink marks and warp issues. This should be enough on it's own though. I have discovered a whopping 30 issues with this kit so far and more are coming. - The dang rear seat doesn't even fit in there without sanding and bending! Try for yourself!
@@petesmodelcarcustoms584 Let me put it this way : The issues in the Cobra kit make the AMT 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona nose cone fit and excessive flash issue a total cake walk!
The lap belts look great. Did I see a blue Oval on the belt buck ends?
Don't forget the floor mats😊.
Dose the center counsel have the shifter, or was it 3 on the tree?)
the transfer case was it a push button type, or lever on the doghouse (hump on the floor) I seen just a few of these all where two wheel drive.😮😊
That's the first time,Doug, when I have no answers,at all,to those questions. Apart from looking,briefly through, I haven't done anything to it. It has horrible tyres,loads of flash and tinted windows😎👍🤣😁😉
@petesmodelcarcustoms584
No I though you painted the Ford logo on the seat belts.😅
@@DB.scale.models thanks for yet another great idea,Doug 👍😃
