Thank you for this testimony. Ironically I attended CU Boulder in 1992 around the time you were there and was a Kappa Kappa Gamma for one year - sexual sin and drinking. I would then go on to Boston University and get involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. As a Cradle Catholic I then left all religion for 18 years after entering a same sex marriage and then being radically converted at age 39 after having had two children with this marriage via sperm donation. I practiced my faith in the Protestant Faith for ten years until last year when I reverted to the Catholic Church. God blessed me with a wonderful husband in 2021 at age 47! We entered the Catholic Church this Pentecost at the cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver. We have walked a similar path. I too was too evangelical in my early days on fire for the Lord. One day when my children are older Il will share my testimony on TH-cam. God bless you both 💕🙏

When the conversion honeymoon ends, the real marriage begins. Like all marriages, you have to be intentional about keeping the love alive and growing, while enduring inevitable disappointments and frustration. After 24 years Catholic, I find my love for Our Lord and His Church is calmer, less giddy, but deeper and richer with periodic moments of excitement still.

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I'm a 63 year old woman who was baptized, confirmed Catholic as well as attended Catholic school for 9 years. I just don't think I really understood the teachings of the church at that time. I received the foundation of faith (Trinity, Christ's atoning death). At the age of 20, I clearly heard the gospel at a very large evengelical church in Southern CA. and made a faith commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. I also went through a period of being anti Catholic, however, believe it or not, it was a Lutheran co-worker who helped me see things a little clearer. It wasn't until covid hit, that I began to listen to a lot of testimonials of protestants who converted to Catholicism. I think I've learned more about Catholicism in these past couple of years than in all my early years. I still have a lot of questions, but I'm so drawn to the Eucharist after reading many of the mystics writings and learning about the Eucharistic miracles. I have begun to attend adoration at a local Catholic Church once a month. I only wish I had a female Catholic friend who converted to Catholicism, that I could talk to about my questions and reservations. I love the church I have been a member of for the past 30 plus years. They are not anti-catholic, but they don't believe in the real Presence. The Lord knows my heart and He will lead. God bless this channel.🕊️

Dee Dee, I really appreciate you taking time to write all of this down. It is a grace to be aware of your various pivots within Christianity. My family will be praying for you. May God bless you in this stage of your journey. Thanks again, my sister in Christ.
p.s. As a Catholic revert, who spent many years in Protestant churches, I invite you to listen to my story: th-cam.com/video/68Pfw3UEN-o/w-d-xo.html

Please tell me an update with your adoration journey. I started mine 2 months ago and it’s been lovely. I’m blessed to have a church up the road with 24/7 adoration, so I’ve gone a lot.
I’m starting RCIA in September so this is all new to me. I’d love to see how Jesus has worked in your life.

    Thank you Jeremy.
I live in the suburbs of the Philadelphia, and have had the privilege of having Archbishop Chaput head our diocese. Actually he confirmed my husband of 31 years, who was born Catholic, though never confirmed. You would have thought my husband was the only confirmation that day.

Thank you so much Eddie, for presenting another incredible witness of the transforming love of God. Jeremy, when I was listening to your story, it reminded me so much about the life of my favorite Christian singer, Rich Mullins, and I was pleased to find out that you knew about him and that he was a positive influence in your life. I can verify that Rich made definite plans to enter the Catholic Church the weekend after he died. He driving to Wichita to make his General Confession to (now) Archbishop Paul Coakley the Friday evening that he died. He was scheduled to enter the Catholic Church that Sunday. He made his fiat to God when he told his priest friend, Fr. Matt McGinnis, "This may sound strange, but I need to receive the Body and Blood of Christ." I have talked to both Fr. McGinnis and Archbishop Coakley about Rich. We believe that God received him into the Catholic Church via "Confirmation of Desire." God bless you both!

Agreed. The church and/ or a relationship with Jesus. The Protestants especially the Evangelicals have "Not forgotten their first love Jesus" That was my take away from 20 years as a Protestant. And that's why I left the Protestant Evangelical church. Low ceiling. Jesus doesn't live in a vacuum. I love the Catholic Church!! The Universal church. 2022 years

It's so sad that the catechists deterred you from the confirmation class because you asked questions! I'm in charge of a class for kids preparing for confirmation now and I try my best to answer any question they have, even if they seem ridiculous or weird or basic. Confirmation is a big deal, and I want my students to be as ready in faith as possible. I have a boy in my class who is from a Buddhist family (his mom is Catholic, but she moved to live with his Buddhist dad and his parents, though they allowed her to have the kids baptised and go to catechism class). He always has a lot of questions. I can't answer all in class due to time constraint, but I make sure to answer him after class. There are difficult questions too, sometimes I have to ask him to wait and do research before I feel confident enough about my answers. My point is, as catechists, we have to fulfill our teaching responsibilities. If we don't, we'll have to answer to God for every soul driven away from Him because of our ignorance and dismissiveness.

Eddie, just as I said, I've just watched this video again. Sorry if this sounds too strong. But you can't not have the Archbishop on your show. These three guys are the books, you'll miss the author. That's the Archbishop who humbled himself and just let Jesus use him to transform these three men.

When the conversation center on our Blessed Mother, the gospel of Luke Chapter 1....if people refuse to call her "Blessed virgin Mary" then they are not living according to the gospels. The Holy Spirit inspired written word of God.

Unfortunately when Jesus said if you love me you will keep my commandments he meant his New Covenant not just the Ten Commandments as most protestants seem to believe. Protestants deny Christ on so many levels it’s sad. I was in schism when I was drawn into evangelicalism by influential radio protestant evangelists for three years or so and lost my faith by the cult of personality. It took me thirty three years for the Holy Spirit to make me to see the fullness of faith and came home. Jesus built the Catholic Church. Luther, Zwingli, Calvin and Henry VIII built protestantism.
