One should not use the general purpose grease oil from local repair shops. Can use chain lube spray or gearbox oil for lubing. They are thick and dont fling around so easily. Always lube chain after end of ride so by next day the oil would have soaked up and dried and wont fling around in other parts of bike.

Yeah bro very well said, but rides like these many things goes unplanned and have to take some jugaad solutions after lube stock become empty.

It was for me as well when we saw the smoke…..silencer is just below the chain so over lube will created smoke when oil fall on hot silencer
