Wow that NARC arcade game pretty much summed up at that anti-drug campaign in the US during the 80s/early 90s: Unwinnable and expensive (in terms of quarters).
Just manually removed a PUP from my laptop. Recently survived a Sunburn Hell Itch. Threw out the body bags just in time for the Garbage Truck to pick it up. In early for some Cryme Tyme. Everything's coming up Milhouse!
Wait THAT'S what drugs do to you?? They make you invincible and capable of creating ammo for your gun out of nothing? I need to get my hands on some drugs!
Pat's KRAK lab!! see folks this is what happens when you have a mother like pat does you get the funds to make a lab, clone yourself, and get shrinking dogs also you buy your way into Cryme Tyme with Matt and Woolie.
Cryme Tyme is hands down the dopest mini-series you do. The 'soften him up' part, the Stone Cold Stunner, the Simpsons/Chappelle's Show quotes, the Scott Stapp impersonation... All of it gold. The original NARC looks like a Shinobi in the Hood spin-off.
So the original NARC was an obvious product of the WAR ON DRUGS Reagan era, and used the idea of drug dealers as the ultimate pieces of shit that even Cobra Commander hates to justify a comically violent and insane Robocop style slaughterhouse of a game. It was weird and the messages it put forward were kind of shitty but it had style and charm. This piece of shit? Well, other than being a generic-ass gangsta cash-in piece of crap, it fucking lets you sell drugs, in a reboot of a game about stopping drug distribution at all costs.
The Godfather 2 The Warriors True Crime Driver: Parallel Lines Kingpin: Life of Crime Bad Boys: Miami Takedown Dirty Harry game Scarface games Wheelman Urban Chaos Riot Response CSI games Police Simulator District 187 APB Call of Juarez: The Cartel Police Force The Shield Gangs of London El Matador Boiling Point: Road to Hell The Getaway: Black Monday World's Scariest Police Chases Police 911 Crime Life: Gang Wars Saint's Row 1 Trigger Man Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance Total Overdose Mafia series Virtua Cop series Some are alright, but mostly awful games. edit: I probably should explicitly point out that not _all_ of these games are awful, and _I'm in no way implying that The Warriors is bad_. Chilly Willy will cry if you guys won't relax. Also added a bunch of game you mentioned for visibility.
Goddamnit, I was excited seeing Driver: Parallel Lines in that list thinking it had a PT Cruiser in it for Matt to fuck about with but then I realized the very next moment that it didn't. Never before has an intrigued boner been shut down so hard. :|
I'm glad you showed the original N.A.R.C near the end. That game was actually pretty hype. I remember the first time I saw the game was actually in the background of the first Ninja Turtles movie where Shredder's lair is basically this indoor park with a skatepark and an arcade.
I thought this series was dead. I was looking for some more gangsta games and I came across one called Crime Life: Gang Wars for the Xbox zero. *"Gritty, Free-roaming city let's you rep the hood day and night, rain or shine" -one of the box's bullets.
need a liam+woolie play, maybe around a naruto game? liam can coach woolie through the japanese nuances while woolie can fill liam in with all the naruto info
Crime-related video games you can torture Woolie with? Let me think Matt (time to get ye olde Wikipedia out for this one, get ready): True Crime New York City Reservoir Dogs The Shield Trigger Man The Sopranos Road to Respect Dirty Harry The War Against Drugs The Getaway and its sequel The Getaway Black Monday Bad Boys Miami Takedown Crime Life Gang Wars Driv3r Wreckless the Yakuza Missions? Urban Chaos (don't confuse this with the Rocksteady Studios developed Urban Chaos Riot Response)
Gk Kk you might want to remove your duplicate comment right there man. i kind of assumed that most of these games are bad. unless the 1st Getaway game and Wreckless the Yakuza Missions are actually decent, i do not know for sure.
LOL, the entire video should of just of been the original NARC game from the 80's that was hilarious. Matt, and Woolie really should do a full playthrough of the arcade version of NARC.
***** Well, it's not like they don't edit - they could just show a couple minutes of the beginning bullshit then cut to when it picks up. And yeah, I saw the retsupurae LPs, they're pretty fantastic.

The Cryme Tyme opening is the best opening in TBFP history.
In TH-cam history more like.
I think your forgetting Arts & Crap
*****
Baddest by P-Money and Gappy Ranks.
Conlan Morgan Shitstorm 3 intro is close behind
+Conlan Morgan This and the Shitstorm 4 intros are undoubtedly godlike creations that spawned from the hype of this channel. (ノ◕‿‿◕)ノ︵ ┻━┻
This intro is so good.
I rewatched it 3 times
9 years later this series still goes hard
this is still the coolest intro for an lp i've ever seen
The Cryme Tyme intro is never gonna be topped.
y'know, it has to be said that if Pat's laughter can cure cancer, Woolie loose'n his shit can feed the hungry
I can't get over how hilarious and awesome the Cryme Tyme intro is haha.
That shot with all the Skullgirls. THE HYPEST!
I was about to say the same thing!!
I had to do a double take, so awesome.
Not that it isn't hype, but they're not Skullgirls.
Marie is the Skullgirl.
Why no Squigly? She's just as kawaii tho....
HillelTaco Well I meant the girls from Skullgirls. The Skullgirls girls.
Wow that NARC arcade game pretty much summed up at that anti-drug campaign in the US during the 80s/early 90s: Unwinnable and expensive (in terms of quarters).
maybe thats what the developers were trying to tell us
Well if you define winning as getting drugs of the street then yeah. Real goal is to get something out of peoples stupidity. Which they kinda did.
I still can't get over how hype that intro is.
In a world of frequent Plague and Cranky intros, 2snacks emerges occasionally to prove he's still king.
Just manually removed a PUP from my laptop.
Recently survived a Sunburn Hell Itch.
Threw out the body bags just in time for the Garbage Truck to pick it up.
In early for some Cryme Tyme.
Everything's coming up Milhouse!
Nice!
Man fuck PUPs.
Wait what was that last one?
HB791 He survived a sunburn itch
No before that .
Drugs give you god mode and unlimited ammo, sweet.
The media has been lying all this time! Hey kids, go do drugs. RIGHT NOW!
2Snacks really does some amazing work; this intro is beast.
I think Cryme Tyme might be my favorite thing they have done all year. Its hype and that intro SHEEIT I love everything about it.
3:09 This game is TOO DIRTY. It’s TOO REAL.
That hype intro + Matt's sick rap skills after man this vids gonna be goooood!
"You ever have that thing where you just need to watch the Cryme Tyme intro?"
Dude it's been 6 years and I still get that Cryme Tyme itch
That song that's also in Snatch is "Golden Brown" by The Stranglers. Absolutely incredible song!
.... that happens to be about heroin... lol
The band has never admitted it is, as they seem to enjoy people arguing for 25ish years whether it's about heroin or just about a girl.
Wait THAT'S what drugs do to you?? They make you invincible and capable of creating ammo for your gun out of nothing?
I need to get my hands on some drugs!
You can't spell Heroin without Hero.
tie off my arm with solid snakes bandanna before i shoot up
***** You also can't spell it without "in her".
Drugs get you laid, kids.
NightmareSnake So you're telling me, to get my senpai, all I have to do is buy some heroin? Fuck me, I'll take 20!
Listening in 2024, still the greatest intro to a series ever
Remember kids, heroin gives you super-powers!
There is a hero in heroin, after all.
I want more Cryme Tyme just to watch the intro again. Yes, even though I could just as easily go back and watch the others.
Intro is still hype as fuck
The Cryme Tyme videos are by far my favorites. Keep it up, homies.
Yeah it's 3 am, yeah use cryme time to feel better, mind your business
Oh man, that last 4 mins or so was some of the best 4 min of my ENTIRE life!
That jumping animation... That jump arc... Is this game running on the same engine that Vampire: Bloodlines uses?
lol i see you everywhere or at least only on Best friends,Atlus and Rasens videos
Raiden2421
That means that you have good taste sir!
Antinomy haha thanks
Nope, Vampire uses SOurce and this just uses Vis's in-house engine
You mean the source engine?
Came back to watch the intro over and over again
Amazing job on that one!
Guys the Intro Song is "Baddest" by P-Money
thank you a decade later, a mpimk named slickback is introduced with this song
Gotta love that intro. Especially the part with the Skullgirls babes. :)
Peacock is my waifu.
I think it's really cool that they made a call back to Woolies heritage by playing the Grenadian national anthem at the start of each Cryme Time.
Cryme Time has my favorite intros of literally anything
I can't wait for them to play True Crime on Cryme Tyme.
I remember playing true crime, and my wtf reaction at the end haha
Currently my favorite series that you guys have, keep it up!
2D Narc is like a fake game they would show on the Simpsons
This'll always be my favorite intro for a Best Friends video.
So the original NARC was an obvious product of the WAR ON DRUGS Reagan era, and used the idea of drug dealers as the ultimate pieces of shit that even Cobra Commander hates to justify a comically violent and insane Robocop style slaughterhouse of a game. This piece of shit? Well, other than being a generic-ass gangsta cash-in piece of crap, it fucking lets you sell drugs, in a reboot of a game about stopping drug distribution at all costs.
Not even Cobra Commander will stoop down to drugs!
And the characther fighting the drug lords used them. Go figure...
This and DS2 are tied for my favorite playthrough series from you guys, with Deadly Premonition and Indigo Prophecy making a close 2nd and 3rd
The Godfather 2
The Warriors
True Crime
Driver: Parallel Lines
Kingpin: Life of Crime
Bad Boys: Miami Takedown
Dirty Harry game
Scarface games
Wheelman
Urban Chaos Riot Response
CSI games
Police Simulator

Call of Juarez: The Cartel
Police Force
The Shield
Gangs of London
El Matador
Boiling Point: Road to Hell
The Getaway: Black Monday
World's Scariest Police Chases
Police 911
Crime Life: Gang Wars
Saint's Row 1
Trigger Man
Beat Down: Fists of Vengeance
Total Overdose
Mafia series
Virtua Cop series
Some are alright, but mostly awful games.
edit: I probably should explicitly point out that not _all_ of these games are awful, and _I'm in no way implying that The Warriors is bad_. Chilly Willy will cry if you guys won't relax.
Also added a bunch of game you mentioned for visibility.
Your suggestions are giving Matt and Woolie a lot to work with. They're bound to play some of those. :)
I would be very upset if they didn't play Bad Boys: Miami Takedown
World's Scariest Police Chases was the hypest game on the ps1 when I was just a babby.
Goddamnit, I was excited seeing Driver: Parallel Lines in that list thinking it had a PT Cruiser in it for Matt to fuck about with but then I realized the very next moment that it didn't. Never before has an intrigued boner been shut down so hard. :|
timmer919hep oh dude, if they played Bad Boys: Miami Takedown that would be the hypest thing ever!!
Man Matt knows how to lay it down, straight up
Matt totally justified his THUG in the beginning there.
I don't care what anyone says, that opening cut scene at 20:46 is awesome. The grainy picture of Pat doing his thing at 20:51 is especially awesome.
Narc? But Nanako isn't in this.
You, me, and maybe two other guys are going to get that joke, but I'm glad you made it.
Bitch is such a narc.
Man, I just got the bad ending to that game (it was my first time playing), and fuck that. 90+ hours wasted ;_;...
Gotta manage those saves, friendo.
Stone Cold Clem never even got the bad ending because it was obvious something was up and it wasnt namatame.
Always hype for Cryme Tyme! That intro's great.
Hotline Miami would be a good cryme tyme game.
+ldmt1995 that is actually a good game, not awkward in any way
+ldmt1995 No its too good!
I still can't get over how awesome that intro is
Well obviously you GOTTA play 50 Cent: Bulletproof.
Video been up for a few hours now and I still haven't got past the glorious intro, DAMN YOUUUU 2SNACKS!!!!
Legal dispensaries and mental healthcare would solve a lot of issues in this game.
More so mental healthcare and less dispensaries.
Goddammit I forgot how fucking awesome the Cryme Tyme opening was.
*RRRRRRRR*
Inverted controls!
*WHAAAAAAT*
The fun and laughs Matt and Woolie are having in this remind me of how the Game Grumps used to be funny.
You guys gotta do "Scarface: The World Is Yours" or "The Godfather" (PS2)
Ypu won life
I'm glad you showed the original N.A.R.C near the end. That game was actually pretty hype. I remember the first time I saw the game was actually in the background of the first Ninja Turtles movie where Shredder's lair is basically this indoor park with a skatepark and an arcade.
o dude o lost it with the whole DMX "Whaaatt"
Matt and Woolie is definitely my favorite duo.
phat rhymes, Matt!
This may be one of the best videos on this whole channel
Dudes, you gotta play The Warriors. It was made by Rockstar, it's 2 player , and it's pretty fucking hype.
love that game
shadowbluemo Actually my favorite on the ps2
"Detective Forzensky... You want some shit?"
It's good to know that taking heroin also gives you infinite ammo. Stylish AND practical!
Or it just makes you THINK you have infinity ammo while you're tripping out in an alleyway somewhere
Ambocom Totally explains how you can absorb bullets in games, you're just out of your fucking mind.
DMX is the key to making your thug life experience perfect in a video game
I thought this series was dead. I was looking for some more gangsta games and I came across one called Crime Life: Gang Wars for the Xbox zero.
*"Gritty, Free-roaming city let's you rep the hood day and night, rain or shine" -one of the box's bullets.
Also it was proudly published by Konami.
ZeoHidra GET HYPED
For anyone wondering, at around 8:30, you can barely hear a song playing in the background. It's Pusherman by Curtis Mayfield.
i just realized the license plate number of the car in the intro is "to hype for you"
hype ass intro...The scene with woolie and matt chillin in the limo with skull girls...That's just BALLIN!
I remember "state of emergency" being pretty bad
How dare you. State of Emergency is amazing. State of Emergency 2 is garbage
xParanoiaAgentx yea like the xbox version it had a somewhat co op mode up to four players
The idea for State of Emergency was awesome, though the gameplay was severely lacking. Though its sad that they don't make games like that anymore...
SavageScarz The first one was pretty good, State of Emergency 2 was a train wreck.
zcrawford81 I may be the only person in existence that liked the second game then. Well fuck. At least there are people who like the first :V
need a liam+woolie play, maybe around a naruto game? liam can coach woolie through the japanese nuances while woolie can fill liam in with all the naruto info
There's the PayDay and PayDay 2. not sure how those are, but there just some suggestions.
My favorite semi-regular Best Friends segment!
Crime-related video games you can torture Woolie with? Let me think Matt (time to get ye olde Wikipedia out for this one, get ready):
True Crime New York City
Reservoir Dogs
The Shield
Trigger Man
The Sopranos Road to Respect
Dirty Harry The War Against Drugs
The Getaway and its sequel The Getaway Black Monday
Bad Boys Miami Takedown
Crime Life Gang Wars
Driv3r
Wreckless the Yakuza Missions?
Urban Chaos (don't confuse this with the Rocksteady Studios developed Urban Chaos Riot Response)
Some of these are good though aren't they?
Gk Kk you might want to remove your duplicate comment right there man.
i kind of assumed that most of these games are bad. unless the 1st Getaway game and Wreckless the Yakuza Missions are actually decent, i do not know for sure.
Thanks for that and I'm not sure myself on the quality of the games
reservoir dog is awesome wile driv3r was a pretty bad san andreas clone
I remember Urban Chaos being pretty awesome, but with some weird moments in the latter half. Interesting main character too.
LOL, the entire video should of just of been the original NARC game from the 80's that was hilarious. Matt, and Woolie really should do a full playthrough of the arcade version of NARC.
You guys should do Marc Echo's Getting Up
No, they should totally play Bob Barker: Getting it up
Hope you was happy with last year then
DAT INTRO DOE! That was so well done! Good job!
You have back up copies of this game?
I can't even find one fucking copy online and i want it so bad.
there's one on amazon
I usually watch these over and over just for the intro xD the rest of the video is just gravy haha
Dead to Rights?
Nice ref
***** Well, it's not like they don't edit - they could just show a couple minutes of the beginning bullshit then cut to when it picks up.
And yeah, I saw the retsupurae LPs, they're pretty fantastic.
For real. Dude just shows up outta nowhere and ruins everyone's shit
Dead to Rights.
Ok, so I'm exactly one minute into this video and so far it's been nothing but pure, unadulterated HYPE!
Shit man, I came for the cryme... but I stayed for the tyme.
"cue intro music"
That was the hypest intro I have ever seen on any gaming channel...I got chubbs
They should play State of Emergency lol.
That's a good suggestion. Do it, boys. State of Emergency.
Oh.... sweet god, YES.
This is legit one of my favorite games. Its sooooo damn stupid and really fun.
How did you guys not use Cryme Tyme's Theme for the intro?
"Bringin' it! Bringin' it!"
*****
Waht is "This song" again?

I NEED THE NAME OF THAT INTRO MUSIC
P money and gappy ranks baddest
Darude - Sandstorm :^^)))))
So glad to see you guys are cultured in movies as well as games. Snatch was a hilarious fucking movie and I loved that song.
True crime streets of la or True crime streets of New York please!
LOL the best intro i have ever seen for anything
Is that Pusherman in the background?
Yes
That is one of the best intros that I have ever seen!
I tought this video was about the arcade game of the same name where you are a guy in a blue suit and a bike helmet gunning down trenchcoat dealers and destroying meth labs with giant glass bottles.
Anyway, 25 to life is one big piece of shit if you want to play it, But the arcade Narc is definitely too ridiculous
They played that.
25 to life or narc?
KingFossilFER
25 to Life.
It is a, um, sort-of-reboot of NARC. But instead of flying gigantic syringes being thrown by shady dudes in trenchcoats, you have... this. Which was supposed to be a message against the use of drugs except they are the only cool power-up in the game.
If you haven't already, check around the 21 minute mark ^_^
You're right TH-cam ad. Nothing is more gangster than driving a family SUV trying to disguise as a sport car by having it's name be Sportage.
My left ear is having a great time.
I will never get over how good the intro is.
Still the hypest intro on this channel
that intro will never not be hype
12:00 Woolie's laugh is so cute
man i forgot how awesome that intro is !
