    Some great facts along the route 😊, good idea showing a route without too much "A" road stuff. That drop through the Trough still scares the S**t out of me. Let's hope for a bit of decent weather and I can get out and find some new routes.

    • @MrDazP1adv3ntures
      @MrDazP1adv3ntures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Terry, the quieter lanes are better in summer so long as the farmers don't mess them up too much. We did a ride last Sunday in Cheshire and the roads were caked in a brown sludge from the fields. It's not good for your rims and drive train but all in all, yes I agree with you finding back lanes and using main roads to link up in between .

    Smashing ride lads and the weather looked pretty kind. I've never been over there as a cyclist so it's nice to see new areas - very impressed by the quiet lanes and decent surfaces - and as a bonus I now know the true origins of Giggleswick. Win-win.

    • @MrDazP1adv3ntures
      @MrDazP1adv3ntures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a great area to explore on the bike Gordon because of it's borders with the 3 great counties. I take it you have the official origins of Giggleswick as opposed to Mike's Roman theory around the Norman conquest times then
