I wasn’t prepared to connect so quickly and deeply with a celeb through their behind the scenes / the making of something video series. I also wasn’t prepared to have new epiphanies and remember old ones.
1) speak up when you’re struggling
2) teamwork does make the dream work
3) when there are others who are struggling more, sometimes the best contribution we can give is to be quiet so their concerns can be heard.
Excuse me while I pace around in my living bedroom and reflect upon my life. Again.

My fave celebs in the world are Keanu Reeves and Drew Barrymore. Watching these youtube videos leading up to the debut of the show is very exciting. This new talk show definitely feels very fresh, innovative and different from any other talk show. In a TV landscape that delivers the same old stuff.mostly, the design of the set, designing for this covid world ...looks incredible. Drew being called a walking mood board by Andy Cohen made me laugh and is part of the appeal of watching Drew on this show because you feel you are definitely going to get the authenticity of Drew. That's what makes it different. Looks like an amazing cast of producers and crew who are thinking outisde of the box. Like I Love Lucy created a format for shooting for comedy, I feel this show is delivering for a covid, shaky uncertain world. Working on a daytime live daily show can be a rollercoaster but have fun and enjoy the ride. Stay true.

Drew, dear sweet lady, you are an empath and you are probably also HSP (highly sensitive person), which means you feel things on a much deeper level than most people (I know because I am too). Don’t apologize for that or ever feel ashamed, that is your superpower, because you can feel what others feel and you can use that to understand them and that gives you insight as to how to make them feel good about themselves. We are all just humans strutting about on this stage of life, and remember what Maya Angelou said, that people may forget what you did or what you said but they will remember how you made them feel. What you have achieved is nothing short of spectacular. I produced a TV talk show in Australia back in the analogue days and have watched the progression of technology. My heart broke also. Your normal. I too have hated the sound of my own voice. I have a bio family who I got to spend so much time finding and now I hardly see them and I beat myself up like crazy about it.
Like I am supposed to work in a hospital full time, deal with my own family and kids, and I better be perfect about my bio family who I really dont have time to see and then covid. I never feel like I do enough. Life is guilt. I have decided that its gotta stop. Cant please everyone with only one of me.
