This song is about anxiety and now, with the echo effect, you feel it more. You can feel the loneliness. It's just perfect.
I was always told it was about a bear in the wild who was facing all of the changes brought by humans urbanizing the forests and stuff. But thats pretty deep too!

This band needs millions of views, and all the fame in the world. Humble, amazing talent. Real lyrics, and a VERY marketable sound. Why can't this music be the stuff that is on the radio every day?

this is one of the rare occasions when, not only is the music and lyricism exquisite, but both the rock and acoustic versions are nearly incomparable in the fact that it's hard to choose which one you like better. they're both absolutely amazing.
edit: 5 years later, lots of life lived and things changed, and it is still my favorite song. this will be played at my funeral.

I love what they did to the song musically. The other version is great too though. Hard for me to decide which I like better. I definitely thought the other music video was better just because it was original, simple and powerful. I always find myself thinking of the video when I listen to the tune.

I haven't ever listened to the version in this video until now, but I've listened to the album version so many times. Jesus this is giving me chills. It's so much more raw and emotional, which seems impossible after how emotionally charged it already was to begin with. Never stop being amazing guys.
