This is the most impressive female drumming performance I’ve ever seen in my life. Her smiles, the drum stick twirl during “I think the clock is slow, I don’t feel tardy”. Her legs going up and down on those kick pedals.. This video is more entertaining than the actual Van Halen video! Awesome, totally awesome 😎

You'll never want for a job at drumming. But take the one that won't wear you to a grind and a manager that won't steal all your money and bandmates that aren't all about the party.
Yeah, It seems those 3 things never end and especially managers taking the biggest part of the money while the artist lives on an allowance with other papers claiming they are rich until the day they find out they've been deceived. Looks as if Mia and her family have been at it awhile. I wish her great success.

Mia is awesome, I stumbled across her posts at her beginning and have been totally impressed!!! I can say I feel honored to watch her grow up to be the awesome girl she is 🙏🤗❤️❤️
😳😳😳 Mia - I remember when this song came out. And yes, this is one of the harder drum solo's to cover. But I also know what sounds good to my ears, and this is absolutely NAILED!! Alex Van Halen should and would be proud of you! Congrats again for an excellent piece of drum work! 👍
aww.. that makes me smile. I'm not near as goofy as I used to be and i'm usually more prepared so I don't have as many bloopers as I used to... oh well, I do still hit myself in the face :)
I am a long time drummer and you are so far ahead of anything I could ever do on a set you are forgiven for a blooper or two. Anyway how the heck did you learn to play harmonica, guitar and sing the dickens out of Heart Of Gold? I watched your Instagram in awe...
:) thank you for hunting that down but it's probably a stretch to say I play anything but drums. I can make a bunch of instruments cooperate, sort of, but they are all on the verge of disaster most of the time. I love being able to put together sounds though so i'll be doing it anyway.
I have no idea how you figured that track out... but it sounds amazing. I can’t believe how quickly your drumming has improved from just a couple years ago. I guess I should practice more🤪...
Ha! this one was a grind. I've been working on it off and on for a few months. It's was hard to decipher what was going on and even harder to get it up to speed. Thanks for always taking the time.
WoW, I am impressed! I have been trying to play that song correct for over 30 years now, I gave up long ago. Now I can see exactly how to do it but my brain, hands and feet are still on overload with this one. Fantastic job young lady you make something so hard look so easy!
Fabulous. One of my favorite drummers and favorite bands. Eddie and Alex were a gift to music. You just nailed that cover. That means you are a gift to music. You've got skills. You've done your homework, lol. 😉 One of my other favorites was the Scorpions. Do you know their music? PS Thanks for the bloopers, glad you didn't poke an eye out.
Thank you very much. I don't know about the Scorpions but I'll check them out. I hit myself a lot more than any non-drummer would think. Drummers are way tougher than the rest of the band :)
Heh.. for a guy like me, who grew up with Scorpions, Van Halen and the likes, it sounds almost surreal that someone who obviously appreciates hard rock hasn't even heard of them. "Wtf.. EVERYBODY knows who the Scorpions are!!!" On the postive side, you have incredible amounts of good music to discover from all those 70's and 80' hard rock bands... and onwards.
This is one of the most epic drum intros of all time and actually you nailed it! You double bass in the entire song is solid like a rock too! Congratulations for making a great cover, girl! ;)

little lady you rock, my Dad was a drummer on the Grand Ole Opry for 30 years and he always said the best drummers in the world are rock drummers, keep kickin 'em, you got serious game
From one drummer to another, fantastic!
I really appreciate that!
Mia Morris the sky's the limit. Keep rockin!
Fantastic job and I love your charisma and personality to boot. Well done!
Thank you very much :D
Every time I listen to one of your songs I have to make a comment...
That sounds like a 1955 Harley Davidson panhead starting up!
I've got a 1955!
Harleys are shit.
Wow!! Cool! Wow!! Cool wow
Wow a 55 Harley panhead starting up sounds like sh*t hitting the wall from a fan. Just sayin... Now, if you had said a shovel.... well...
Damn straight !!!!!
@@geoffpoole483 so is yo momma...
Sweet smile, feisty attitude, tons of talent, What a winning combination!
I've always thought this drum intro was awesome. And you did it justice!
thank you for giving it a chance and for the nice comment.
Hey Mia that was great! You put the wood to the skins as well as anyone I have ever heard, as a teenager. I just subscribed.
I really appreciate the comment and your support. I hope you like variety, I'm all over the place with musical styles and even instruments for that matter :)
Are you playing in the "upside down?" hehe. Awesome job!
I leave that to 11
I trust you will see yourself out, sir
I'm blown away oh my God she's absolutely perfect with ease!!!! 13 years old that good already you're on your way girl keep pounding away
Well that was freaking amazing!! Sounded spot on and there's a whole lotta stuff going on there. You smoked it!
So cool! Great job Mia!!!🙌👍😎🤘
Thank you, this was a hard, but fun one.
Mia is awesome, I stumbled across her posts at her beginning and have been totally impressed!!! I can say I feel honored to watch her grow up to be the awesome girl she is 🙏🤗❤️❤️
UNREAL!!!!
SERIOUSLY!
This is a very complicated and technical song to play!
Well done Mia!

Thank you for checking it out and for taking the time to comment.
yes!...hope for the future of Rock.....in the form of of a 13 year old girl!
Pure talent there, playing those drums!
😳😳😳 Mia - I remember when this song came out. And yes, this is one of the harder drum solo's to cover. But I also know what sounds good to my ears, and this is absolutely NAILED!! Alex Van Halen should
and would be proud of you! Congrats again for an excellent piece of drum work! 👍
Damn girl!!! Way to go! That’s some fine work.
Thanks you very much!
Loved watching your bass pedals rocking along with the rest of it. That was fun even though you almost lost an eye at the end. Great job.
Ha! You made it to the end. I always wonder how much of these people actually sit through :) thanks
Mia Morris
My kids ask to watch you and Sina all the time. They'd get pissed if we didn't watch until the end ;)
aww.. that makes me smile.
+Mia Morris . i love mia.
WoW, I am impressed! I have been trying to play that song correct for over 30 years now, I gave up long ago. Now I can see exactly how to do it but my brain, hands and feet are still on overload with this one. Fantastic job young lady you make something so hard look so easy!
You leave me for dead. My new hero.
Ha! thank you :]
Fabulous. One of my favorite drummers and favorite bands. Eddie and Alex were a gift to music. You just nailed that cover. That means you are a gift to music. You've got skills. You've done your homework, lol. 😉
One of my other favorites was the Scorpions. Do you know their music?
PS Thanks for the bloopers, glad you didn't poke an eye out.
Thank you very much. I don't know about the Scorpions but I'll check them out. I hit myself a lot more than any non-drummer would think. Drummers are way tougher than the rest of the band :)
Mia Morris
You got that right.
Scorpions, check out "Winds Of Change" and "Coming Home." You can message me on Instagram and tell me what you think.👍
Heh.. for a guy like me, who grew up with Scorpions, Van Halen and the likes, it sounds almost surreal that someone who obviously appreciates hard rock hasn't even heard of them.
"Wtf.. EVERYBODY knows who the Scorpions are!!!"
On the postive side, you have incredible amounts of good music to discover from all those 70's and 80' hard rock bands... and onwards.
@@miamorrismusic RIP Eddie. 😭
That's pretty amazing! Not many professionals could pull this off.
I really appreciate you checking it out :) Thank you very much.
When I die, I’m coming back as her. Can’t sing or play an instrument, but drums are my jam for sure! Especially on this song!! FANTASTIC JOB!
