I love these playlist things not only for the great song selections, but it feels like you’re here with other people. It’s like that feeling you get being in a library or a coffee shop or something. You’re not talking to anyone, and there’s nothing expected of you, but you’re still not alone. It’s weirdly comforting.
I have been listening to this Playlist as a reminder that even when things all go to hell sometimes whether it is a tough breakup, dealing with a horrible job, a personal loss, or life being difficult that hope is the one emotion that gets us through. These songs, to me, are the embodiment of hope. It is a reality check that even when all seems lost we have the capability to change our situation. I personally believe the power "a choice" has is usually overlooked or not given enough credit because if you think about it humans are the only beings on this planet that changes its surrounding to fit them, whereas animals have to adapt to their surrounds. The synthwave type music helps me get through each day, thank you!
All these tracks are wonderful and I listen to them regularly on my way home from work to destress and leave work at work. Signs is probably my favorite track in this list. I really like the vocals, but the instrumental is great when I want to let the music wash over me.

Only recently found these bands,... could have used this on deployments to help release me with the stress and anxiety. Joe Santorini and Eric Johnson's guitar riffs kept my sanity in check. Listening to these tracks brings me back to the 80s nastalgia type movie scene, when all you had was your own perseverance and discipline to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and sali forth. Back then we had no social media, you had your circle,.. your inner circle,... then you. That was it! You grew up quicker, but it made you tougher and stronger... not just mentally... but inner spiritually...you demanded a higher standard of not only self discipline... most importantly of self worth... not only from yourself... also the ones around you. Something today's youth has lost,.. never shown ..or never experienced.
I was working, just letting youtube play whatever after I clicked on a video, letting it autoplay through, and then the first song came on and I just had to stop... thank you for giving me that brief moment in remembering we are not just robots meant to live out a routine. The last 5 months of my life have been the hardest ever but this music has inspired me to pull from the deep wellspring of strength in me and in everyone. This music is having a positive effect on me to believe again in my dreams and cast off old behaviors that held me back from going for everything I want out of life. I have a position I am going to leave soon for something better that can actually make good money and make me happy, and I have to have the confidence in my life I can overcome impossible odds and build healthy meaningful relationships again after ending a bunch of toxic ones.

You know, I'd hear this music a lot at thrift stores and never knew what kind it was. I just thought it was random 80s instrumental music. Every time I'd leave the store, I would come out feeling like I had stepped out of a past decade. A lot of the stuff in the thrift store was vintage, used, and/or old to add to the 80s vibe. The nostalgia is real.
This is seriously good music for studying! I've got a 5,000 word economics essay to write (VERY boring when you have to read lots of legislation before writing anything) and am breezing through it thanks to your music :)

Yes, I missed synthwave in Cyberpunk... I had my custom synthwave music in GTA and always listened to it.
