I got this playstyle with the MiG-21Mf (basically the same plane) which has been working pretty well for me. I'd recommend taking out at least 1x, maybe even 2x R3Rs for head-ons and high altitude. At the start of the match I usually climb at a 20° angle to roughly 7km-8km altitude and use the R3Rs to get some relatively consistent kills up there. Then you can drop down on the furball below and use your R-60s to kill some unsuspecting targets.
