Gotta say, I prefer the jumpsuit color on the older but I like everything else more on the newer one. I especially love the cleaner look and the jet pack because it's closer to his Kamino look rather than Geonosis.
Really glad you made this video, I love collecting Jango Fett figures and I got the gaming greats version because I couldn't find a decent price on the original release anywhere lol..after seeing your video I can see now that I like aspects of both figures.. realistically I doubt I will ever find a fair deal on the original.. I will be patient of course.. I keep my black series figures in box though mostly and I must say the gaming greats box design has a far better look and displays extremely well! Thank you again!!

Yeah I feel original Jango is the way to go. Haven't played the game in a LONG time, but didn't remember him having Boba's jetpack. Other than that they seem like they are the exact same figure, just less weathering on the game version
@@weeetchie I literally just looked it up. The one on the 2020 figure is the same jet pack from Kamino. The 2016 one is from Geonosis. You can simply figure this out by searching "Jango Fett Mace Windu" and Jango Fett Obi-Wan Kenobi," like I did.
@@weeetchie if you're referring to the "new fig" as the one from 2020, then the jetpack on that fig is the one from the Obi Wan fight on Kamino. You said in your original comment that the new fig jetpack was the one where he is killed by Windu, which is wrong. The jetpack on the old fig is the one from when he is killed by Windu (this being the fig with slightly more weathering and no face print tech). You can tell with the little jets that stick out the side and the longer rocket that it's the one from the Kamino fight with Obi Wan where Obi Wan destroys it as you said. You were correct in saying the Z6 is the one destroyed by Obi Wan, I think you just misworded your original comment. Cheers
The difference between the old jet pack in the new jet pack is the new jet pack is the jet pack from the fight scene with Obi-Wan and Jango Fett. And the jet pack on the older figure is the jet pack he used when he was fighting mace windo
And attack the clones jango uses both jetpacks, on the Camino fight he uses the jetpack with the missile and then when it gets destroyed he switches to the second one on geonosis.
I'll definitely be getting two of this so I can give the other's head to my Black Series ROTJ Boba (Already yanked the helmet of that bollocks gray BOBF Boba head. I want my Boba to look more like he did in the Classic EU instead of the crap Disney EU).

@@LuminousMatrix I think a lot has to do with the new Disney series. Seems a lot of Boba and Jango have gone up in value. It will eventually simmer down. But.. with this particular one it's been slowly trending up. I got mine for $15ish at GameStop. It's my son's favorite one of the entire line. Plus I like the look of the gaming greats box. Especially compared to the original red and black ones which are just horrible.
