    Have to laugh when people trade their cars in when they’re barely up to 50,000 because they think they’re high mileage. My Skoda Yeti is on 340,000 and ticks over like a watch. Why don’t I trade it in? Because the equivalent to this car is close to £40,000. It’s a no brainer, I’d rather just invest in my current car, just like the lady on this video is doing. A brand new car to her would be a step down anyhow, she’s got a classic car that must attract loads of admirers. Fair play to her!

      I had a 2005 Mazda 6. It was about 500 miles off 200, 000 miles and unfortunately had to be scrapped as the bodywork underneath was rotten. It was never an advisory on the MOT (uk requirement) so not sure how it suddenly became an issue. I'd just fitted £300 of new exhaust and it passed the MOT on everything else, so I was gutted. It had leather seats, parking sensors, electric sunroof, factory sat nav and never missed a beat. I do miss it. Only just got the value of the exhaust back from the scrap!

    I’ve had my 1994 mustang since I was 16. 27yo car, had it for 23 years. Still only has 193,000 miles on it though, so low mileage. I have kept all the documents, including the purchase, as well as the previous owners purchase. She bought it used from a local dealer in 1995. I’ve not only driven it at Texas Motor Speedway, but taken it to shows, parades, my wedding, honeymoon, etc. I hope to be able to keep it as long as this lady has.

    • @UmmYeahOk
      @UmmYeahOk 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Djevan41598 automatic. But understand that originally, when I got it, it was a 16yos girl’s car. Before that, a little old lady, and before that, a rental. So the automatic was a necessity, and should not be looked down upon. Besides, if I want to drive a manual, I got one of those too.

      Unfortunately that's the most bland mustang body style most people don't like 94-04, it doesn't resemble the original at all. The 05-14s do. My favourite is the 68 bodystyle, interior 64-66

    • @UmmYeahOk
      @UmmYeahOk 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@m42037 94-98 and 99-04 are two different body styles. They may share the same chassis and interiors, but the bodies are completely different.
      In my opinion, the Fox bodies from 79-93 are the most bland. If my 94 were bland, I wouldn’t get so many compliments every time I drive it. I also drive a Tesla Model S, and despite it being a superior vehicle, I rarely get any compliments, which leads me to believe that my mustang is in no way as “bland” as you think it is. I see more 60s mustangs on the road nowadays than the 90s ones, so despite the differences in price, to me, they are “bland,” even if more people prefer the styling.
