Heavy taxes are being applied on import stage to discourage imports because our country is an import oriented country which results in deficit in balance of payment. The deficit in balance of payment has been increasing for the last 10 to 15 years...

ahmad ali He never highlighted it the way it should be. The scale of the problem, the gravity of the issue demands much much more than what he does on such extended platform like he has. It depends on how deep one feels for the common people, how passionate is a particular person about fixing such serious issue and creating awareness. بھاٸی اگر حکومت 10 سال پرانی گاڑی امپورٹ کرنے کی اجازت دے اور ٹیکس بھی کم کر دے تو پھر NCP گاڑی کوٸی بھی نہ لے۔
یہ ہماری قوم کی بدقسمتی ہے کہ ہم پر چند کمپنیاں مسلط کر دی گٸی ہیں۔ جو انتہاٸی ناقص میٹیریل استعمال کرتی ہیں۔
گاڑی کی ابھی رجسٹریشن بھی نہیں ہوتی اور اسے زَنگ لگنا شروع ہو جاتا ہے۔
پاکستان میں 1974 ماڈل کی پرانی گاڑی چلنے کی اجازت ہے مگر 2008 ماڈل کی گاڑی امپورٹ کرنے کی اجازت نہیں ہے جو اس سے کروڑ درجے بہتر ہوتی ہے۔
1992-1993 میں گورنمنٹ سکیم کے تحت جو گاڑیاں پاکستان امپورٹ کی گٸیں ان کو ابھی تک زنگ نہیں لگا۔
مگر اب قوم کو کچھ شعور آیا ہے جس کی وجہ سے جاپانی گاڑیاں امپورٹ ہونا شروع ہوٸی ہیں۔

I have a request for you if you somehow try to reach towards the chief minister to take this problem seriously and reduce the price of custom duty. You are talking about national resources, if they reduce the price people will eventually start buying expensive cars, so they don't have to import illegally, hence the crime rate decrease, so the economy increases, masallah people are so rich in Pakistan they will easily buy Lamborghinis without any hesitation. But only thing they are afraid of is these massive customs. Kindly Please take notice on this message seriously to cut down these massive. I hope you will do something regarding this issue !!

I live in Gilgit, Gilgit Baltistan. We own a non custom paid salon which costs 4lac without custom pay. But over here in the north about 90% of the cars are non custom paid and everybody uses them but we can't take them to main cities like Islamabad. But the car works totally fine, it's been 4 years now.
Come to Lahore or Islamabad then police will tell u 🤣
