That silver metal item is a tatting shuttle, I took a class once to learn it because my grandma used to make tatted lace but I was too old, my eyes just wouldn’t behave!
That's a great store. I agree the furniture is outrageously priced. I don't decorate for fall until closer to October. It's still too hot where I live. ❤
Love the glass top box. So pretty. And let me say i really like the way you show your haul. Some people talk so much that i speed up the haul section of the video so i can focus on the items. I think you do it well and balanced. Good job. I enjoy your channel.
❤ hi Danielle Jackson and Lincoln xoxo I really love ur hand brush I've been collecting them too nice finds and they look beautiful in ur home thanks for sharing Laura have a nice week 😊
We have had soooo much rain this summer (raining as I watch this🙄) that I’m over it already! I started washing windows and changing curtains and I’ll work my way to the decor. Love your videos!
I once owned the beautiful silver butter dish with the roll top lid that you picked up. Had a glass dish that set inside. But for the life of me I have no idea what happened to it. 😢. Always love the unique and curious things that you find., Danielle ❤
Since the little wooden riser says Gotham on the bottom , imagine a silver candlestick on it with a glass surround. It was called a hurricane lamp. Very popular as part of early American decor. I enjoy your channel.
I love everything you found. I think my favorite thing was the salt & pepper shakers. They are so unique & cute! Also, I really like the findings, brush, & jewelry box for your cabinet.
Danielle you found some charming pieces!I love everything, especially the round ,glass jewelry holder and those adorable salt and pepper shakers in your lovely curio cabinet!!You know just how to style everything!!!Always looking so good!!!😁🏺🛍👒
I believe that that one metal piece that you aren't sure about is a belt buckle. At least that's what it looks like to me! And yes... I have brought out my autumn decor and have started to put it up. Autumn is my favorite time of the year, so I like to make it last. Before we know it, Christmas will be upon us, and last year my husband wanted to decorate early, so I had to take down my precious autumn decorations. So, this year I am putting them up a bit earlier, even it is still 90 + degrees outside! I did a major seasonal purge and reorganization a couple of years ago, so I don' t have nearly as much stuff as I used to, and I stopped buying new stuff. I only buy something new/thrifted if I absolutely love it, and then I delete something to make room for it. I have learned that " Less is more."
You could always put your fall threads in the little silver dish. I have some of those wood bases that came with my cloches. What a fun store. You got some nice finds❤️
Danielle, you found some awesome things. I love the vintage thread and what a great idea to add to a fall vignette. I’m going to get all my Fall decor out this weekend and sort through it. I’m so ready for Fall but it takes me a few weeks to get it displayed to my liking. You have such an eye for detail. 💜💜💜
I think the little brass bit with the oil lamp on it may have been an incentive award for scripture memory, that's my guess anyway. Recently found your channel and you have a beautifully curated collection of treasures!
The metal item with the 39 on it looks to me like a belt buckle for someone from the class of 1939. They often were given class pins that were shaped like that image on the front of the buckle- very very cool!
Can’t wait to switch from summer’s decor of blue & white, floral, milk glass, etc., for fall’s tartans, brass, amber glass, and wood…. But I think I’ll wait until September. Also, seeing more and more people starting to collect those old hard bound Readers Digest books for large bookcase displays! Fun idea!
Hello, I loved everything you got, especially the beautiful brush, the antique store find..the little box and one of my favorite was the beautiful threads..loved the color and they were fancy. I would put those on top of some old books..you did great. ❤❤❤
Love the fishscale pattern vanity hairbrush! I pick those up as well, i use them to brush lint/dust/hair off my hats& clothes. Also, great find on your threads! I found an aluminum cake box filled with dozens of full spools of threads, all colors for $9.99 at Gw. I sew, so thats a deal for me! Love the old labels& pricing on them.(10 for $1.00- when? In the 70's???)
I start my fall decor about this time when my son goes back to school because that’s the official start of fall in my mind. Now while I do, I also take a few weeks to sit with it and edit/add where needed. French chairs can run pretty high especially if the upholstery is in good shape, I always reupholster mine so I can get them pretty cheap.
I talked about starting to decorate for fall, but my family all vetoed the idea of decorating this early. It's still in the 90's here. The first silver thing from the antique store is a bobbin for making lace. My grandmother used to use one.
I shared my simple fall decor on my channel already, so I’m ready! 😂… It’s been super hot in south Florida so trying to prep for my favorite season of the year! 🍂😅🌻🍁❤️
Your fall threads with those adorable little buttons would be pretty together! Very nice haul, though. I wonder if there is not something to keep this bristles from falling out? Blessings 😊
You have a knack for putting your items together. Everything looks lovely. Nice haul. I usually wait until at least mid September before starting fall decorations but I notice people starting earlier here, also.
Omg I was hoping you got the salt and pepper shakers!! I would have paid that for them too! So different! So was the round silver piece thing whatever it is😂That glass and gold piece is beautiful. I’ve been cleaning too, I have wood ceilings so I vacuum them and then started on my curtains. I’ve been putting away summer things and looking forward to fall now. Once the house is deep cleaned the goodies come out😂
Cute things!! I use my silver caviar (or butter) dish to hold my bar of face soap…that way my husband doesn’t grab it to wash his hands. 😂. It looks really cute on the vanity. Thanks for sharing!
That silver metal item is a tatting shuttle, I took a class once to learn it because my grandma used to make tatted lace but I was too old, my eyes just wouldn’t behave!
Oh my word, I thrifted a gold trinket thingy with the glass top as well!!! 😂… I uses it to store my wedding ring and other keepsakes
Beautifully styled!
You styled your treasures so beautifully! They are so unique and go so well in your decor.
Thank you so much!
Loved the Beveled Jewelry Case…

The brush fit in beautifully with your curio decor. Love your style.

Haha thank you! I watch most videos in 2x speed because I get really bothered by slow talking! 😂
I would mix red and green transfer ware for a Christmas themed tablescape.
The round wood base is the base for a glass cloche. I pick them up too cause I sometimes find those round glass cloches with no handles with no base.
Neat finds & always love how you style everything!!!❤
❤ hi Danielle Jackson and Lincoln xoxo I really love ur hand brush I've been collecting them too nice finds and they look beautiful in ur home thanks for sharing Laura have a nice week 😊
Love everything!!
Absolutely love how you styled your vintage items 😍
Beautifully styled in a lovely homey way. Loved the small items those make all the difference when putting displays together 😊
Cute finds!❤
Just love your cabinet with your treasures! Displayed so well! ❤️👍
We have had soooo much rain this summer (raining as I watch this🙄) that I’m over it already! I started washing windows and changing curtains and I’ll work my way to the decor. Love your videos!
Love to see your video, lot's of blessing from Puerto Rico
It’s hot in August, September and up to mid-October where I live, so I usually wait to change things up until the first weekend in fall.
I once owned the beautiful silver butter dish with the roll top lid that you picked up. Had a glass dish that set inside. But for the life of me I have no idea what happened to it. 😢. Always love the unique and curious things that you find., Danielle ❤

this place had some good stuff. It's crazy when vendors have a something like a table for sale and then pile stuff on it.
Absolutely love your style. Great finds & great job styling. Love your videos.
I love everything you found. I think my favorite thing was the salt & pepper shakers. They are so unique & cute! Also, I really like the findings, brush, & jewelry box for your cabinet.
I love that you call your little things " findings" :)

Fun shopping trip the S&P is a good price. The covered silver dish is cool. The buttons are cute.

I noticed you have a few vintage mirrors in a silver pitcher, I really love that idea I’m going to do that in my spare bedroom.
Great finds. The silver piece with the lid that slides up is for caviar and it would have had a glass dish in it. Thanks so much for sharing
Beautifully styled. ❤
Your hutches are so beautifully displayed 🥰

I loved that tall metal basket!! Looking for something neat looking for my recyclables.
I start my fall decorating Labor Day weekend.

Always love watching your videos.
Thank you!
The wooden base is for a clear glass dome. You can use it to display a miniature Christmas tree I'm sure you could find the glass in the future.
Nice stuff. The prices were definitely a bit high. Thanks for sharing with us.
Your fall threads with those adorable little buttons would be pretty together! Very nice haul, though. I wonder if there is not something to keep this bristles from falling out? Blessings 😊
I enjoyed your video! Thank you!
YOUR ROOMS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. YOU SHOULD BE A DECORATOR.
The first item, I believe was to serve jam ???
Beautiful
The little silver thing with thread is a tatting shuttle.
It’s a lost art. My mother in law did it but no one else in the family learned. Sadly she has Alzheimer’s now but I kept all of her shuttles.
You have a knack for putting your items together. Everything looks lovely. Nice haul. I usually wait until at least mid September before starting fall decorations but I notice people starting earlier here, also.
Great finds. I am searching for salt and pepper shakers like the one you found...so cute.
The metal diamond shape thing is for tatting-needlework.
A tatting shuttle. My Grandmother used one.
The little metal needle item is a tatting shuttle for making tatted lace -I would like to learn to tat someday
Omg I was hoping you got the salt and pepper shakers!! I would have paid that for them too! So different! So was the round silver piece thing whatever it is😂That glass and gold piece is beautiful. Nice haul. Not decorating for fall yet because it is still Texas summer hot.
Same here. But it will be this hot for months longer…so I’m gonna give in soon! Haha
The spool like thing is for tatting. Research tatting. It’s very pretty work.
Cute things!! I use my silver caviar (or butter) dish to hold my bar of face soap…that way my husband doesn’t grab it to wash his hands. 😂. It looks really cute on the vanity. Thanks for sharing!
Oh that’s a good idea!
I had the first piece it’s a butter dish missing the glass insert I use to use put ice on bottom and butter in the glass insert
I regret not buying the tonka!
My grandma taught me to tat. I still have several shuttles and could still tar if I wanted to.
Love, love your style. Resembles mine. Are you thrifting in Tomball? 🌹❤️
You course use the thread, buttons and antique bobbin in. Sewing vignette
The silver piece is for tatting/lace
Such great buys! What is of the name of this store?
Brass piece is a belt buckle 🙂
A nice watch but anything on an orange tag we can’t read
The camera has a hard time with red and orange tags. Not sure I can fix that. 😓
😍
Why rush summer!
Because I hate Summer! Lol
