you have to drive in the right lane if it's free. Hogging the left lane is illegal on autoban.
Ludak021 Yeah but he means normally even in germany people drive 130km/h on the right line and its amazing to see someone drive safely 300km/h on the right line.
psg sorry but no. They drive always on the middle lane and don’t even move to the right in case you want to overtake them. And even with high beam flashing they don’t move right. And if someone is faster on the left lane and you are on the middle, they still don’t move.
@@timothyblake5532 Why would they move from middle to right when you are the one that needs to take the left lane to overtake them? I mean, no one is obligated to move for you if they are driving above the minimum speed.
@@Ludak021 if the right lane is free they have to move there, it doesn't even matter if someone is trying to overtake them or not

@@dafrog3778 the m140i was the only 3l rwd hatchback, now it is gone and all hatchbacks are basically the same, 2l turbo and front wheel biased, in the uk at least the m140i will become very collectable in years to come, much like the e92 m3 will be very collectable in the future as the last n/a v8 m car bmw made
A friend of mine has one with 3 doors, MANUAL, Remus full exhaust, downpipe, OZ wheels, lowered, 440hp and 650nm. The B58 has an amazing potential and the M140i is an absolute beast to drive

Guter Mann, bei 300km/h rechte Spur auf der Autobahn :D Es könnte ja jemand schneller sein in Deutschland
Ist mir passiert bei Nacht = Ich bin mit meinem 130i linke Spur bei ca. 240 km/h im Tunne BAB, ich sah hinter mir nur 2 Schweinwerfer mit Lichthupe und höre noch die Hupe, war eine Corvette z06 und ich würde schätzen ca. 300 kmh/h oder mehr. Ich hab mich zu Tode erschreckt weil das Ding so angeschossen kam. Ungefährlich ist das auch nicht :D

That's why I watch this YT channel, because there are many crazy, amazing, and cool cars (stock, tuned, super, luxurious, etc...) that these guys drive. @@medusagrant4654 It was 23,5 C°. So AC has more work to do than usual. AC is using much energy which is generated passive by the engine.
Yeah,AC saps power on any car and when going for a top speed run you need all the power you can get,so without AC it could of gone just over 300 km/h.
A/C in new cars works differently (no clutch on pulley, but bypass valve) and it turns off itself, at full throtle
I'm not sure if this still exist in newest BMWs, but i replaced this type of compressor in 2010 E60

Well, if y check the 100-200km/h time it's slower than M4. This car has around 410-420hp.

@@MrBalkania Shit loads of turbo lag, nothing happens under 4k rpm, this was the biggest annoyances for me. Then there was sooo many minior problems that annoyed me like rusty wheel hubs after one winter (looked like shit), squeaky brakes, plastic paddles, gearbox was fast but sooo clunky in automatic. The m140i is just perfect with stage 1 and an aftermarket exhaust! it's also alot cheaper to buy and own/maintain than the rs3.
But the 5 cyl still sounds better imo...
@@DrKampfpudding PFL rs3 sounds just as good or slightly better however the facelift rs3 with 400hp is really muted and no bangs on down shifts.
@@TheFrankybody i do think that the BMW is the better looking car. I really dislike the look of the rs3 . bit its the only car which has a 5 cyl . and i just love the sound

That is really an awesome car, and when you think about it, the standard BMW chassis has been engineered to handle that speed without any problem or drama. Your viewer was wise not to do anything with the chassis/suspension as I think it is already as perfect as it gets to be stable while also offering comfort in daily use! 300 kmh in a 1 series! Epic!! Loved it!
When it was at 299 for a moment I thought, that would be a great way to troll...have it limited at 299 km/h!

This is so much better than the new 1-series.. This will go down as the last of the best RWD 6-cylinder hot hatches in the history of the car.. Future cars will not get better, only worse, with more & more restrictions for safety and climate.. Sure a fast electric car like a Tesla is cool, but it completely lacks the soul and thrill of a ICE car like this.. Something non-car people will never get.. The new 1-series is made for non-car people, who just think driving a BMW is cool.. Non-car people are the vast majority so I understand it from a business point of view, but it's sad BMW has gone that way with their most affordable model..
Not a fan of xDrive, but I guess with that much power in such a small car you'll need it.. :P
Very well said, non car people think every bmw is expensive. I have friends and they once told me our teacher has a bmw he has a lot of money. Guess what it was a old 3 series with 150hp wich probably had 300.000km.

Impressive! I have the normal M140i, although I love this car madly, I seriously consider to visit the MS-Tuning guys.
Alternative would be Aulitzky Tuning in Bavaria, its my place to Go with my M2
I saw a 2017 125i parked near my house the other day and it looked so handsome, BMW hit the mark with this gen, unlike the recent one ...
300 KPH (186.4 MPH!) is pretty amazing in a little 1-Series BMW....
B58 gets too much hate that iy doesnt deserve, it's a wonderful engine in terms of performance reliability and sound, there are some daily drivable B58s with over 600 hp
Only ppl who hate it are poor N54 drivers
@@GodKing804 N54 is a monster as well, it is quite similar to B58
@@pharaongaming8617 b58 is closed deck with the same forged internal, leaps better than N54. N54 regarded as monster because you can extract more power from twin turbos than single twinscroll and an had an over kill fuel pump. If both of these are applied to the b58 it can absolutely reach 600-800hp without significant work

@@pharaongaming8617 I'd say since the mk5s out the aftermarkets going to make the B58 way more noticeable than it used to plus the fact that it's helping both the MK5 and B58 bimmers in the process.

An old man in the UK had a 700 BHP one but I think he sold it/died but his son had a m5 with crazy power too. Not sure what's going on now but the 1 series was epic, you make great videos btw I've been watching them since yesterday and I think your accent is really nice and relaxing!

I had an M140i xdrive about a year.
Now i drive a F80 M3.
Totally different cars, but with my experience in both cars even with a standard M140i xdrive the M3 stands no chance from 0-100 kmh.
For the rest, the spoken english here is with very much hair on it, typical dutch? 😜😜
