Damn, Kilo was ahead of his time. He should've blown up more than what he did. To go backand listen to some of his lyrics, ayyyyyy! True A-Town legend.
Good observation his music sounds like a lot of the styles that are out now with the rap-singing and all that. I know though he was one talented son of a b
This was kilo at his height. He had gotten out of jail. The scene had changed a bit but he figured it. The label put a bag behind him. But kilo was his own worst enemy
No matter what part of ATL you was in....When you went to the skating rink in 90's they played this and that My Boo by the Ghostown DJs at least 3 times in a 2 hour span lol!
This was my jam in the 7th grade. Moms had it on a cd on trips to see my sister run AAU, never knew the name. Just found it yesterday after 8 years of mumbling the chorus. I'm so hyped I found it ! Lol
Grady " high " school class of 93! Classic house party in the ATL. Any one remember the Ten O'clock Drop on 89.3 ? The best of booty bass. My man Raheem Tha Dream did the intro. I miss the 90's so I must be gettin old.

Kilo used to live in Jonesboro Ga in my hood when this blew up. He had a really nice house off Jodeco Rd. That house was like 1/2 mil in the mid 90s. I met him one night he was walking around the neighborhood high. Anyway, yeah we knew Kilo lived right in the hood in HS.
@@prophetsarcastic8543 Yes, that was it.... He was nuts lol, he used to walk down late at night by himself and sit on the entranceway sign to his neighborhood with a walkman rapping to himself and dancing. He did it fairly often too. It was always at like 2 AM. My best friend lived in the poor neighborhood across the road from his rich one. We used to drive around and smoke blunts late at night, there were a shitload of police patrols in Clayton Co, so we always drove in the rich neighborhoods to smoke because no cops. Drove through there , sure enough crazy rapping guy is on the sign again. We stopped and friend in the back saw him and realized it was Kilo, yelled out his name. He came up to the car and was the nicest dude, I mean to us little white kids in 1997 where we were from, it was like meeting the Beatles or some shit lol.
