This movie is better than it's given credit for, Olyphant's performance as 47 was damn near perfect, it was obvious he studied and knew the character well, it was just let down by a lacklustre script and storyline. Which is what annoys me the most, the Hitman games have a great storyline running through them, that's what should have been used and it should have had all the ridiculous bits too, killing people in insanely unpredictable ways, using multiple disguises at a moments notice, walking around like a ghost, being so smooth even Teflon would be jealous, hiding bodies all over the freaking place that only get discovered after he's left the scene, more Diana. Everything about the movie should be paying homage to the games.
@Oliver Pong Jason only has a good body and a bald head. His acting is pathetic. The only reason his movie works is because he can do stunts. And Hitman as a character is more than just stunts. Hitman character is intimidating, which this actor nailed it.
This movie was underrated. It was not a masterpiece but it was very pleasant for the 47 fan I am. And Oliphant was a great at interpreting one of my favorite characters in video games ever.
4:45 not a good idea to blow up your rifle (after assassination) which creates mini fire, light and noise that attracts attention from law enforcement that shorten your window of escape.
The problem with Hitman is that the story is pretty much the worst part of the games. This movie did a good job not delving too far into it. When the mystery behind his existence and his past is just a terrible deus ex machina, it's much better if it just stays a mystery.
the main problem with Hitman is that he is supposed to be a stealthy assassin, yet is a creepy looking bald guy with a barcode on the back of his bald head. Its weird that he doesn't bother covering up the barcode and wearing a wig of some sort.
We an Arms and Ammo Business ! I am using Guns as a Kid and now whenever i repair or set the aiming of any Customer's weapon by firing a Bullet , I do it like Hitman ! Its a Great Coincidence that i am 23 and living my life just like 47 ...... Alone and Task Oriented !
47 knew something was wrong when he was asked to break his "normal parameters". He was used to test out Belicoffs clone. And 47 was the tie string that needed to be cut. I dont get it?
@@yourmom1481 I guess the director didn't know that "Театър" means "Theatre", "yeah looks like a Russian parliament or whatever to me, no one will notice" since i haven't seen presidents giving any sort of speech in a theater 😂
@@MrZazzyHD finally, someone smart, im from Bulgaria and know that :)
0:42 gotta say , they nailed the first game walking animation
They nailed the 3rd person walking sequences down pat! The director specifically mentioned to Olyphant the "floating" nature of the walk.
Nobody played Agent 47 like this man.
Surely it's not just me that's being recommended this now, right? 😂
well this recommendation has perfect timing lol
He sets up the 'elevator shootout' days before it even happened... that's BADASS

Left arm is stable when he walk. Hitman's know why...
The best "Hitman" of all time!!!!
This movie may have been odd for the games, but Olyphant did a great job
God I love this intimidating hitman. This guy's acting is to the point.
His face may look a bit innocent for Agent 47, but damn, he nailed the role perfectly
Thanks TH-cam. Where is our Hitman now?
It's a great disappointment that this actor didn't do part 2. He's perfect for this movie.
I remember the game well
It was one of the best games i ever played
First Person View mod is now out and Freelancer gamemode, now you have no excuse to not play unless you're dead or almost dead.
This was the best hitman movie by far .. 😌
Makes sense that this cold blooded assassin could be Pennsylvania's best paper salesman
4:45 not a good idea to blow up your rifle (after assassination) which creates mini fire, light and noise that attracts attention from law enforcement that shorten your window of escape.
We need him to take the Russian president out now.
I am from Russia and I am hope!!!
@@simonphoenix3789 coz he doesn't in the game
Thats the crypto wallet verification.
1st hitman game had really good story. Blood money was not bad either.
There is no need to make any story line at all. This game is about professional doing his job. Nothing more.
why is this in my suggestion now - does the youtube algorithm hint anything on the current geopolitical situation?
He walked away just to save her life! I love it. True gentleman.
Hitman 2007 was SUPER underrated.
This is really a masterpiece
Wow didn’t realise it is Tim as Hitman. I loved him in Justified. Great actor!
47 knew something was wrong when he was asked to break his "normal parameters". He was used to test out Belicoffs clone. And 47 was the tie string that needed to be cut. Ultimately with the end of setting him up with not doing the job with killing the girl. Life is sheisty asf in this strange world. Even the ones who work an underground operation of that sort dont realize that theyre dispensable by their own law that they protect.
Belicoff here is played by a famous danish actor. As a Dane it's quite amusing to see Danes play vilans like this
No one can act hitman 47 better than timothy olyphant
This movie was so good. I wish they made it a trilogy
Just so y’all know he’s the same actor in “Santa clarita diet” on Netflix 😂 he’s hilarious and brutal
4:48 what a waste of a very nice rifle....
Its weird seeing a bald Raylan Givens as Hitman ngl
Yeah man rayland with hair cannot play the rayland with no hair
Ye h bhaiyo sakht launda!!💪💪💪
He's a great actor and I agree he should have received an Oscar for his role, hope he keeps on making more movies, what a great and tremendous actor of all times
