Saw a performance by Enrico Rava in HK a few years ago. Wonderful player with a beautiful tone ... He played some things that were truly inspiring ... plays from the heart. I think he's no longer a young man, yet his playing was full of power / fire / and endurance. All that is apparent in this clip.
"Spleen" is a French word used to describe certain trend in literature or music compositions close to melancholy. This recording has all the ingredients to capture those feelings. Rava, Galliano, Marcotulli and (guess) Pietropaoli did a honest and good job. Bravi! Thank you "Therealshowstopper" for daring to publish this European gem .

No, he's right -- a lot more horn than accordion in this tune. And I thought Galliano performed with a chromatic button accordion, not a bandoneon.
