OK OK!!! So Xander held my head underwater long enough to make me subscribe. Great job on your video, Max. Love seeing you and Zander together. As a painter, I particularly loved the views you shot of the water flora and just the beauty of the surface of the water as you glide past. Inspiring me to do a painting! Looking forward to watching more of the ones you've already posted. Thanks for sharing.
Hello Xander, sorry I made the switch to your brothers channel now. Ha 😜😝😛ha ha ha - kidding. Love the brotherly bonding between the two of you. Not many can do this with their siblings with nature alongside. 😍🥰♥️💗💖💖❤️💜
My dad was the second person to paddle down the Columbia River from Canal Flats, BC to Astoria, OR. The first guy did it in a rubber raft and my dad did it in a canoe during spring run off. My dad also went up to the head waters of all the major rivers that feed into the Columbia River. He was the first to concur those rivers. There is some information available on the internet but it's not easy to find. My dad Alex Laird did this adventure back in the early to mid 60's when the river was still wild. That's a really cool adventure you two did and the food looked great. Well done!
@@maximbudnick He did go on an incredible adventure. I thought I'd share it with you because you took an incredible adventure yourself even though it was only two days. My dads trip took all summer. His money ran out so he ate beans and rice as well as some fish but he lost his fishing pole going over a waterfall early on in his trip so he had to take his knife and attach it to a stick to spear his fish. He was smart and left just enough gas money in his van that he left in Canal Flats to get home and ran out of food on the way. That was his moment in life where he says was his highlight because it was so wild and fun.
We enjoyed your video , refreshing on this cold winter day ! Looks like you had a great time , it must be nice to be jung again . We are seniors in our 80's . Thanks for sharing .
There’s a spiritual quality to this vid where your goal is not simply to conquer and pass through as quickly as possible but to linger in the experience and let it penetrate within. Nicely done!
of course i subscribed! 1/2-way through his vid, well before being dunked by Xander.... beautiful video, thanks for sharing, looking forward to many more Max&Xander adventures 2-ways! (currently involved with binge-watching your channel)
I respect you didn't do something foolish just for the video. That's an awesome river. I'm sure you will have a chance to look at that chute and those rapids again. This is a quality video. Who hasn't had that wonderful of life in full bloom.
Hey Max. Just subbed brother. I know those water levels weren't great but damn you guys got lucky! Every time I go to that God forsaken river I'm dragging my damn canoe down the whole freaking thing! It is so beautiful though. I dream of the day that I'm bombing down that thing in flood conditions! Okay, maybe not quite flood conditions but just something damn proper!! Looking forward to your next video.
Tell Xander to calm down, I subscribed two weeks ago. lol. This was fun, love seeing the dynamics between the two of you. Can't wait for your next adventure!
Hi Maxim. I love that you are doing these videos. No doubt that you and Xander have been canoeing many years before. Keep up the good work, this is the sweet life :)
Just catching up on your videos after subscribing; what a treat. They are all excellent and this one was truly special and spectacular! Keep up the great work!
Love your perspective. Great Video. I mentioned to Xander on his Video basically how I admire the Comradery you guys have. Good on you. I'm gonna binge watch the rest of your videos.
Wow what a ride! It is an absolute paradise up there. The river, the flora, the sounds of nature. Must have been a great bonding experience for you and Xander. Your appreciation of it all is so evident. And what you said about the feeling of summer...you captured that here. And some day you will bring your kids to this river.
Great video as always. You’re videos are very calming. I’m so glad I found your channel. I’ve watched Xander for a long time. So glad your having some fun together.
I really loved this. It wasn’t that you did it but that you did it with your brother. You challenged each other, and had fun together. Looking forward to your next adventure!
The first thing I want to say is, thank you so much for not ruining it with music. Because if you ruined it with music I would’ve not watch the video I would’ve exited out and I would’ve blocked your channel altogether. But also I want to say thank you for the good and all that comes with it it’s up like a bit with it too and everything that we say it’s so much support Just like that wasp nest that I just killed. Sitting on top of my air conditioner I went out there and grabbed it and threw it off the balcony. Crushed it with my fat ass. That’s that’s what it’s like when they put music of the stem videos. But we got to experience this with you and has to it for do it again and I appreciate that PS-… please pray for my sense of humor.
Great work on this Max! I can't wait to watch more and more of your content as well! Having 2 brothers myself, I love seeing the interaction between you guys. It really takes me back to all the hiking trips I've done with my brothers. It all begs the question thought, "How many more Budnick's are there??". Looking forward to the next.
That was an amazing adventure that you went on. I loved every minute (the ending made me laugh), but the best part was that you made safe decisions… grandma and grandpa will be proud and happy, not to mention your parents and I!!
Safe to say it wasn't because Xander dunked my head under water, threatening my life until I subscribe to your channel 👀 but I do enjoy watching your version. Someone had mentioned that Xander is the goofy one, but you're the steady, thinking one. It's perfect.
There is supposed to be a way to freeze dry eggs. I have seen powdered eggs on few shows but they seem very uniform, or greulish or something. Like yellow jelly. I wonder if there is a way to dehidrate them with more body.
This is something I have been meaning to explore myself. Breakfast is the hardest thing for me while camping, especially on the go. Thanks for watching
Great stuff Max! Happy to see both of you guys enjoying it! I'm curious - what's the big yellow portage bag you were using? I'm currently looking for a new one!
Hey I am glad you enjoyed! I have the sealine 120 pro pack. Mine is quite old and is nearing retirement. I actually originally bought it for 110 cad now I see it is far more expensive. I also suggest you check out the eureka 115 canoe pack which is far more reasonably priced.
@@maximbudnick yes Sealine are much more expensive nowadays... Will definitely take a look at the Eureka! I appreciate the reply Max and keep on posting some amazing content. Our summers here in Canada are looking great so far!
