- Cornell defenseman Gavin Adler and Penn midfielder Sam Handley are the top two players on ESPN Analyst Paul Carcaterra's Big Board for the 2023 PLL Draft. On March 26, they met in Ithaca, N.Y., with Cornell defeating Penn by a final score of 18-12. Handley had three goals and one assist in the game. loved the breakdown! More of this would be sick
Really shows that Adler should be the clear number one. Dude is an absolute dog on the field and, as a goalie, I can tell you that is exactly the type of defender you want, no matter their size. The fact that Handley could really only bully him once and couldn't use his athleticism to get past Adler really ever, shows how great Alder is on ball. Handley is still I think number 2 and has some fantastic potential, but Adler really showed his class here

Watched several Penn games this past year and Handley was a non-factor despite being mentioned by the commentating crew every 30sec just because he's big lmao Penn finished what place in the Ivy league? How much of a "game changer" can you be if your team doesn't even make the tourney?
