This is such a great shell because there are so many options for stair placement but also it’s still got a lot of tricky bits that are a challenge in a floor plan and roofing. I love that! I’m excited to try this one.
Was thinking about how she loves putting the cutting boards in every kitchen, and recently I started shrinking and adding in that little book cupboard thing from Dream Home Decorator and putting it up on the counter. It makes a really cute recipe book holder.
OMG this turned out so beautiful! 🥰 I *love* the color schemes you went with! The blue/green/orange pairs so well with the more neutral black/grey/brown to keep the bold options from becoming too overwhelming ahh. (But also I just love those colors/that color scheme lol it's kind of beachy in retrospect.) And your layout and that roofing is amazing too! At first I was a touch disappointed you didn't use the curved roof section for another balcony, I thought the telescope could go there before you added one in, but then I remembered the only "actual" usable slot for anything would probably be inside the little bump-out with the tricky pointed roofing and after that I wasn't sad any more lol. 😂 Curved walls and decks look cool but the decks have always been a pain in the rear to actually select anything for usage, with or without MOO placement (and curved rooms are no different.) You're right, the table is perfect for that curved window! (lol and even if it becomes hard to select because the Sims, odds are you don't really need to.) I love the furnishings you picked too ahh I'm sorry I could gush forever! This would be an excellent holiday rental since Windenburg gets heavy snow. (Not that you can't place it elsewhere but it looks very cozy and warm and insulated against the cold.) I considered where toddler beds could go and then figured maybe just a group of pals/fam with a dog could visit ahhhh. It'd also be great to live in! I need to try this dino challenge soon. I think last time I left a comment (unless I forgot, I watched two of your vids back to back a few days ago) was LilSimsie's most recent shell and I loved how you hid away the fridge, but I thought I'd hide the trash, so this kitchen looks super realistic and even more sensible to me! Haha I never got around to doing that shell either. 😅 I really need to try out both soon though I'm not sure what I'd do with this one. I loved how you put that roof across to turn one of the bump-outs into a support pillar! 😊
Yeah the rounded rooms, and platforms, and foundations are kinda funky with object placement because they are essentially a separate room even when they are attached and should be part of a regular room, AND in order for object placement to work correctly the camera has to be IN the actual rounded part of the room. And top down doesn’t work well because the camera is generally too high and not “within” the room, so usually I end up zoomed way in and on a sideways angle to precisely control object placement and have it move smoothly. This was an issue with round fence rooms even before the high school years patch - I figured it out while trying to Reno that one Willow creek house with all the round balconies.
When I saw that u uploaded the shell, I was so excited. I already downloaded it and I am working on it. Would definetly love to see more shell challenges.
You are a big influence on my builds, some of what I do on the exterior is thanks to watching you! 😊 I have become addicted to creating tiny homes...so thank you for being so influential in the tiny home market of sims 4. It also helps that tiny living exists but 😁
I JUST finished this build…it took me seven hours 😂 But I love it so so much, I think it’s actually my favorite home in the Sims now! Can’t wait to play in it
I love how yours turned out! I do shell challenges all the time but this one is driving me crazy lol. The round rooms are so glitchy. Mine is pretty modern, which I don't usually do, it's lots of brown, black, blue and gold. I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone. Hopefully I'll finish up and post later today. Thanks for the shell and fun!
I went to Syracuse University, and this combo always reminds me of their color scheme. I love your tiny houses, but I really want to play a family in this one.
I just recently subscribed to your channel. You are an incredibly talented builder. This shell challenge looks great and I got a few ideas as soon as I saw it, I can't wait to try it. Thank you 😊
Aaaaa! My submission was shown at the beginning of this video. (Actually, twice as I submitted twice. I have deleted one since this.) I enjoyed your challenge. Please do another one soon.
I'm not that good at building and can't roof to save my life... but if i do this i will probs use what you made and refurnish the inside and put different colours and Windows and stuff
Does the winner get anything or this just for fun? FYI I've never done a shell challenge but I want to attempt this one because it looks so interesting❤️
Here's an idea for a brand new building challenge: Spite Build (Google "spite architecture" if you're unfamiliar.) Start with a normal build (either build yourself or download from the Gallery), but one that is NOT built on the 64x64 lot size (or, if it is, one that at least leaves a decent-sized footprint of open land. Big enough to build a micro-home at least.) Place the build on the next lot size up (if applicable). You can move the lot *as a whole* around (e.g. can place it near the back of the larger lot, the front, off to the side, etc.), but the existing build has to be maintained as is. The bad news for the Sim that owns that house: a very spiteful Sim owns the adjacent land in the lot. The challenge is to build a house (or commercial building if you prefer), in the remaining space. The builder of this second structure is spiteful as heck, so they have no compunction about blocking the views or convenience of their neighbour. Of course, they have to ensure the original Sim can still access their building/home, so no blocking their doors or anything, or you're going to be ordered to demolish your structure by the city! For added fun, consider the air rights up for grabs, so if you run out of horizontal room, don't be afraid to get creative and go vertical. How spiteful can you get? 😁
This looks maddening - can’t wait to try it!
Good luck!

I LOVE what you did inside. All those colors are SOOOOO good together.
I genuinely think this is one of your best builds! Incredible!

I love the challenge of curved walls so this is perfect for me! I was literally rubbing my hands together like a villain in a movie when i saw it
Is this your first shell challenge? If so congrats. I'm so excited, and I will def be working on this tonight as along side with Kate's new shell.
its not - just the first one in a long time! haha - i hope you have fun with it!

I've been busy with work - too busy to watch my fav streamers but I'm excited to commit to this shell challenge this week! A little treat for myself 🤣
I love this shell!! I’ve had such a sim slump and this shell makes me want to jump back in the game to build:) def will be doing it !!
I just recently subscribed to your channel. You are an incredibly talented builder. This shell challenge looks great and I got a few ideas as soon as I saw it, I can't wait to try it. Thank you 😊
This build is so beautiful. I love the way you've used the space it's so creative.
I love your videos you keep me inspired and your voice calms me after a bad day☺️ also using one of your houses for my 100 baby challenge
LOVE this color scheme. So cozy!
LOVE THIS BUILD! I love the colour combo ❤️
loved how it turned out
This is exquisite as always! Everything just so purposefully placed. I will defiantly give this shell a try :)
YAY! Thank you!
This looks so good! I'll have to try this!
This looks beautiful
I'm going to have to try yours! I've tried a couple of lilsimsies and I love them. ❤️
Absolutely love this! I've never done a shell challenge before but I'm really excited to try it!
I started during your stream and I'm almost done with the exterior!
Your Dino shell made me actually think of an among us character lol 😅I’m definitely gonna try this as well! 😊❤
Shell challenges are my life savers, because I can't, for the life of me, create a decent exterior shell and floor plan.
Beautiful build!!
My build is in progress, but when you tour them, will you place them on a specific lot if we request that in the description?
Can't wait to do this myself! Love your buiilds :)
thanks for another amazing build ❤
love ur buildings!!!!
Aaaaa! My submission was shown at the beginning of this video. (Actually, twice as I submitted twice. I have deleted one since this.) I enjoyed your challenge. Please do another one soon.
I havne't done a shell challenge in while so I saw this and though to attempt it .
Question--can we change the wall heights if we want?
Yes!
This is nefarious 😳💕
Did I miss the tours? Not sure if the vid is on another channel maybe?
Nope! They aren't up yet - I've been behind as I have a family member in the hospital.
This looks impossible! I'm so excited to cry five times and buldoze 20 builds lol
Is rotating the shell allowed?
Yes!
I'm not that good at building and can't roof to save my life... but if i do this i will probs use what you made and refurnish the inside and put different colours and Windows and stuff
.cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…
Please check the cc builds. I just uploaded mine and it’s flagged as a cc build, but I did not use any 🙏🏻
First! Can’t wait to watch it looks fun ❤
Does the winner get anything or this just for fun? FYI I've never done a shell challenge but I want to attempt this one because it looks so interesting❤️
There isn't really a "winner" - its mostly just for fun but I will also be touring a good chunk of them both here in a video and on stream on twitch!
I only have like 3 or 4 packs :(
you can participate no matter how many packs you have!
Ugh!! I wish I could participate but I’m on Xbox 😅
🤩
