Thank you Donovan for all I have learned from you all these years! Your music has always spoken to me. In quiet, wonderful ways. Since the beginning, your music has been a healthy influence in my life and my spirit. It is easy to see why art is so important! It lasts a lifetime and beyond!

I remember my first exposure to Donovans music as a young preteen was Sunshine Superman, it exploded on the radio and I was so enamored with the style and voice I became a fan.

Donovan was my favourite singer-songwriter in the 60s. I think it was John Lennon that stated “Bob Dylan showed the way”, but there is no doubt that the White Album’s Dear Prudence, Julia, and Blackbird songs have Donovan’s signature. So, Lennon should have said "Donovan showed the was as Peter Seeger did for Bob Dylan”.

True. But more than that, Donovan actually plays on those Beatles songs. They weren’t very good musicians, certainly not good enough to be studio professionals. The Beatles didn’t write the songs attributed to them nor played on Beatles albums 1962-66.

I was in a variety of meditation groups; one wanted us to meditate a minimum of two hours. My spiritual vibrations and those of other group members, when combined, produced a discernable spiritual vibration. It produced uncanny coincidences and surely was a heavenly result.

Jeez, that interviewer has a big mouth! How many times did she interrupt him? She needs to learn how to shut-up and listen and do a proper interview!
Otherwise, aside from the stupidly blurred-out still photos, a good interview with the Legendary Donovan Leitch.

I would LOVE to learn that Guitar "Finger Picking Technique" he taught John (Lennon) Im trying to teach myself but it's hard. You can go on youtube, they have many guitarists
who will teach you a certain Picking patteren. Thats fine but, I need a teacher right there with me, showing me, telling me if I'm doing it wrong, or right!

Great seeing the legend Donovan, and hearing his stories. Horrible overall interview, the interviewer should quit interrupting him, I know she must have been excited to have him, but let the man share, and chill.!!!

Starship, there was no also and no drugs as that was one of the reason s the trip went ahead, Donavon chucked a big lump of hash off a hanger on who had it and threw it in the Ganges river saying last thing we need if the press get a whiff ! Of this .

@@waynesilverman3048 Hopefully Donovan reimbursed the hanger-on for the hasish that he took upon himself to chuck into the Ganges..
