Perhaps Lawrence Saldhana has not received recognition and honour that he deserves for his great contribution to Konkani music and culture. There is wide variety in his lyrics.
Thanks to uploader for uploading this album & making it accessible to all. These are some of the great compositions & I feel proud that some of them were sung by my dad late Lancy Pinto. Listening to songs like Benedicta,London Vetam takes me back to childhood days, when some of the practice sessions were held at our house. Hope these songs reach more people & they enjoy it.
Very famous songs in the early 80's when Mangaloreans living in Bombay used to visit Mangalore for Christmas or to attend functions used to play these songs in their respective Homes and we used to listen and join in the dance when invited.. Very meaningful songs.

The original Cassette also had a memorable introduction to all the Music Artists in this Album.....I vaguely remember that 'Karkolche Festh' was sung by Norbert Rebello...Neverthless the entire Album is a Konkani Masterpiece...
