While holding current is given by the main battery , latching current is provided through gate .

@@chetanpatidar1562 holding current is minimum current that is required by the scr to continue it in running stage after starting the scr matlab kam current jo scr run hone ke baad chahiye jo scr ko rokne se bachaye
Leacking current ka matlab minimum current jo off(Forward blocking stage) stage se on stage me scr ko lata hai (Forward conduction stage)
