Longbow is usually better on actual encounters since barely any encounter nowadays (in decent groups) is long enough, as the Burst of Longbow is just superior to GS and Warhorn, however the other two options have a bit better sustained dps. In the end weapon choice is preference unless you really wanna tryhard. Edit: talking about raid encounters, i can't judge Strikes/fractals properly currently.

It is if you want to play Greatsword. Longbow and warhorn are other options as well and they excell at different things. warhorn and Greatsword have slightly better sustained DPS but Longbow has the Stronger Burst windows. (swapping out axe/axe as weapon set is not expected)
